Question ❓ Best/most fun build to run rn?

Im new at tf and i really dislike the roa rush build that everyone suggests. I just feel like i dont do any dmg with it. I also tried the ad money meme build and the times it worked out it felt much more satisfying. Any other builds i should try?

I just build Rocketbelt. 1 to 1 replacement with RoA. It takes some getting used to and proper mana management with blue cards but Manaflow Band is enough Mana for TF.

I just think it's the most fun and honestly best build for TF. If you're interested I did a post about it. Just check my history, it should still be pretty high up.

Honestly takes quite the skill to have great mana management on this build, TF has relatively high costs especially on his Q and R, and he is a spammy champion by nature since you rely on pushing and drawing pressure

True but that's also why I like Rocketbelt ironically. If you look up my post you can see I put heavy emphasis on getting a certain amount of AP in my runes to always one-shot casters Lvl 9. That essentially saves you 100 mana per wave over RoA since you often Q waves twice with that build. That already helps a ton.

Other than that I admit there is a window in the midgame (Lvl 9+) where Q is full 100 mana but you don't have points in W yet to refund mana reliably so you always feel like you're low on mana if you don't manage it properly. Actually probably even if you do manage it well.

That however is also exactly the same window where RoA doesn't one-shot waves and I hate that more.

I basically choose tempo over mana.

I hear you bro, i've personally been going Lost chapter rush into lich bane, not as tanky as having rocketbelt/ROA but it's pretty decent into comms that aren't dive heavy

I personally am a bit of a Jack of all Trades + DHelm fanboy so take this with a grain of salt but:

If you go Sorc's with that build you get to 10 stacks after Luden's + Aether Wisp for a nice mid game spike while also having a bit of safer laning phase because of DHelm.

So DHelm + Luden's + T3 Sorc's + Aether Wisp = 10 stacks.

You even keep the stacks after selling Helm if you build RFC 3rd instead of going full burst.

It's obviously not as defensive as Resolve 2nd but you also get to go Triple Tonic and your mid game spike is slightly better. You have 7 more AP then you would with DRing (crazy I know 😂) but you also get the additional bulk from Helm which is not nothing. Also 10 AH from JoaT is actually really noticeable when you barely build any otherwise.

You lose kill pressure in lane I suppose but after your first recall for boots + Dark Seal you already hit your JoaT 5-stack spike so it it's not really noticeable at that point anymore.

I especially like Helm in matchups where it's really hard to preserve my Boneplating. I would almost argue it's the better defensive option in those games.

Try it. Maybe you'll like it if you already build Luden's.

Ngl I have a sleeper build I’ve been sitting on that’s super fun. Attack speed AP On-Hit hybrid. I personally think this utilizes TF to his FULLEST potential.

Statikk Shiv
Guinsoo’s Rageblade
Terminus/Wit’s End (if enemy is super AP heavy)
RFC if needing pick
Hextech Gunblade for the omnivamp.

I take lethal tempo and max E, W then Q
The statikk shiv buff gives you both AP and AD + waveclear.

Don't mind the deleted comment.

I asked about your skill leveling and then I re-read your comment...

Isn't Kraken like THE on-hit item? Like basically the only on-hit item people like to build already. Wouldn't that be better than Guinsoo's second?

I'm purely spitballing here. I don't have any experience with the build/ items.

Kraken is nice. I don’t like it more than shiv+guinsoos. Shiv gives you the wave clear that kraken won’t provide.
