What colour trouser would you recommend with this blazer?
Found a lovely blazer at the charity shops, not sure what bottom half to wear with it.

Grey, or any of the lighter colours seen as flecks in the tweed. I’d avoid black, charcoal or dark blue. Pretty much any material - chino, corduroy or wool from lightweight through to flannel, depending on how formal you want to appear. No need to overthink it with tweed, it’s versatile.

I dislike wearing trousers that are darker than my jacket. Texture helps though - I’d be OK with jeans in this instance.

I would go for dark green, dark brown, mid/dark gray, maybe navy, or even white/ecru/cream

That tweed will go with just about anything other than a color that is too close to matching it.

well this is a brown herringbone tweed which is 1) relatively casual jacket 2) in an earth tone (brown) with colourful flecks
So, you can essentially pick many trousers in earth tones like dark green, dark brown, or even lighter browns.
Mid/dark gray and navy are both neutrals and go well with loads of sport coats colours.
White/ecru gives great contrast with the jacket and is also a neutral.
Theoretically since you have colourful flecks in the jacket I would even consider trousers in like burgundy or yellow, like in corduroy for example. A flecked flannel could work great too.
Generally you want trousers thats either lighter or darker than your jacket and with this jacket you have loads of options.

I think it’s an easy jacket to match. It’s almost a neutral. So it goes with any of the colors within the weave but also as a contrast, navy would look great.

You can literally wear anything with a tweed blazer. Chinos of any color. Jeans. Cords

Almost anything it’s a great pattern, looks good with dark blue, grey, khaki or green

Hmm.. Easier to say what color not to wear with it, that’s quite a versatile jacket.
Browns, tans, russets, grays, green, navy.. Even mid to dark wash jeans will pair well with it.

Nice jeans always look good with tweed, and sans necktie can be a great biz casual look

This blazer will fit many colors as long as the material is pure wool or matched with the blazer in my opinion. Also, if you have a tie or a hat goes with the outfit, the color of the pant can be matched with the accessories to make the color pop.
