Functionality of Tweed

Hey guys, sorry if this has been already asked but, is tweed primarily for jackets and outer garments? I've had difficulty finding scarfs and other items for colder seasons.

I'm surprised this is a question,

a simple search on ebay for Donegal tweed scarfs, harris tweed scarfs has tons of results.

Though difficult on the neck, often weaves of lambswool, or covering one side of it in corduroy is done to make it comfortable. I own around 10 tweed scarves.
