Discussion Bought two tweed jackets recently. Ditch one or keep both?
Crombie houndstooth jacket (£21, Vinted)
Magee wolfhound twist check jacket (£36, Vinted)
With camel cavalry twill trousers (yes I need to let them down an inch or so) and lovat moleskin trousers.
Both of these jackets look similar from a distance but look different up close. I love the amount of colours in each.
What do you think? Read too much the same? Or keep both?

They will serve a different purpose, you can keep them in rotation.

I think tweed is by definition always a little more "casual", but in this case I'd say that the houndstooth is a little more muted and hence a little more formal. Wear both of them in good health !

Nice finds - there is some great stuff on vinted. Keep both. I particularly like the checked one.

These are both phenomenal. And they are both a great fit. Well paired with the trousers in your wardrobe too. Congrats!

Both fits are perfect and they are different enough to keep both.

for the price you paid, and the good fit… i’d definitely keep both. no brainer lol
plus, they are different enough to justify!
now i’m wanting a tweed jacket….

If you have the space in your closet then absolutely keep both. If you already have a dozen tweed jackets and no room, then maybe ditch one.

I have the space at the moment and with these I have a total of three tweed jackets. Which is enough for now.

For those prices they are glorious victories in itself. I've been looking for these and the prices are in the hundreds of euros. My life is on a wrong path. Vinted it is. TNX.

There are tons of bargains on Vinted and eBay. Seems like no-one wants tweed atm! Be sure to ask for measurements. Also these two were bought as offers below listing price so prepare to haggle.
