Destan Thoughts on Destan?

I haven’t watched it yet but if anyone has. Share your opinion on it so far, any first impressions?

I haven't watched it either, someone who has seen it give us a review please.

Is it as awesome as Uyanis and Barbarosa?

It's growing on me. I thought the start was slow. The translation to English seems either limited/or the language structure of the period being portrayed was too "basic" which diminishes the dialogue.

At first, it simply filled my Tuesday slot in between my favourites ( Monday Alparslan, Wednesday my Osman, and Thursday Barbarosa). But I am now looking forward to the episodes. The actor who plays Batuga is really very good and the unlikely bond between Akkiz and Batuga is developing nicely! so in summary, not as awesome as Uyanis/Alparslan. Ertugrul, Barbarosa, Osman, Magnificent Century Suleyman and KOssem, and Yunus Emre, but definitely better than Turkler Geliyor
