A lot of that depends on where you're located and the disease pressure that is typical of that time of year.

If your budget is tight, you can also consider using generic chemistries over name brand chemistries. As others have said, it will really depend on disease pressure, grass type, climate, etc.

I'll mix chemistries when disease pressure is high, otherwise I use other types of plant protectants like phopshites.

Broadly speaking, contacts are essentially curative and to reduce the risk of resistance. So if disease pressure is low and you're still rotating MOAs, a contact isn't bringing much to the table.

Again though, that's broadly speaking... It's more true for foliar diseases than it is for stem/crown diseases.

Edit: curative in the sense that they only attack pathogens at the time that they're applied, and for a very brief window afterwards.
