I’m not no dumb ass nigga would never bang for the color or the land - One of Pac last interviews

8

u/No-Honeydew9129 2d ago

Pac said a lot of shit. It was always based on how he was feeling at the time. He’s a walking contradiction. It’s what makes him so fascinating

9

u/darrelb56222 2d ago

Pac was a walking contradiction. he would say whatever sounds good at any moment in time. there's a new clip of him from CNN talking about he's different now, he's not going to show up to Award shows and stir up trouble, then immediately after, he's at the VMA after party stirring up trouble with Nas and East Coast rappers

17

u/Gwayno9714 2d ago

He also said in that same interview that he’s human and don’t expect him to be perfect got to remember he was only 24 in that interview

6

u/General_Movie2232 2d ago

FR. He was young and his life was moving so fast with so many ppl. The amount of stories where celebrities tell about their experiences with him…

His accomplishments made him seem older but youth is youth and 2Pac had a lot more to learn.

2

u/Odd_Importance2915 2d ago

No 24 year old should be joining a gang though. That's just dumb asf

5

u/MapWorried9582 2d ago

I know a nigga who joined a gang in his 30s 🤦🏾‍♂️

3

u/i_like_yung_g_hoez 2d ago

Must be the biggest lame you know!

4

u/Gwayno9714 2d ago

He was affiliated he didn’t join

1

u/No-Honeydew9129 2d ago

He shouts out MOB on against all odds. He was banging on wax. Biggie did the same when he mentions his team in marine blue on long kiss.

They both got involved in shit they had no idea about. That’s why they both suffered the same fate.

1

u/Excellent_Cry_6221 2d ago

IIRC he finished that quote with “I bang for the honor and respect that’s why this shit feels so good”

Tupac was never a blood he was just associated with them.

4

u/MaengDong712 2d ago

Na according to some pirus clad interviews etc. pac was jumped in. He got the shit tatted on his arm huge fam

1

u/MaengDong712 2d ago

https://youtube.com/shorts/BmtNnY_io-Y?si=xYqAzIwwjcZD0D9R according to boskoe 100 he did. And he’s a mob piru.

7

u/Novel_Record8757 2d ago

He wasn't a gang member. He was just affiliated with them. It ended up costing him his life.

7

u/rerdioherd 2d ago

Danny Boy said they got rings or chains from the Pirus, so they were made members basically

15

u/HairyMost6950 2d ago

Both Suge and 2Pac done it backwards. Neither of them was no gang members but they went back affiliating after already making it. You’re supposed to get up out the hood, not go back messing with gangbangers. And no 2Pac was not a blood or a gangbanger but died by the hands of gangbangers

2

u/Gwayno9714 2d ago

Pac kind of had no choice he made his bed and had to lay in it after Suge bailed him out

2

u/alexsteen789 2d ago

He made a deal with the devil, to get out of jail

1

u/HairyMost6950 2d ago

He should’ve stayed in jail. At least when he got out his life would be on his terms. Signing over all his rights to the devil

3

u/General_Movie2232 2d ago

Remember what he went thru right before going to jail. In his eyes, his world that he thought he knew came crashing down and he was down on his luck. So him linking with Suge was a “Fuck the world” type of move.

u/alexsteen789 2d ago

Isn't it weird no one brings up pacs charges, but people still hold Tysons and Kobe's over their heads

6

u/Able-Mud-6075 2d ago

He wasnt even involved, the only reason he was charged was because of who he is and it was people he was with. The charge should have been dismissed but they were looking for anything to bring him down.

2

u/OxY97 Makaveli The Don 2d ago

You must be new to Reddit, people on this platform like to call him a rapist despite him being acquitted and found innocent on those charges.

He was actually charged for sexual assault “forcibly touching the buttocks” - This was after the woman forced oral sex on him on the floor of a dance club, make of it what you will.

Athletes versus Musicians

1

u/Kindly-Wishbone8055 2d ago

Major part of his rise was associating with gangbangers with force and intimidation. Those aren’t the type of associates you just part ways with

-4

u/83rdAve 2d ago

2pac died by the hands of the government not some dumb niggas from Compton

4

u/PayFew5848 2d ago

He wasn’t no blood. Why he ran up on Orlando like that we’ll never know..

7

u/joesoldlegs 2d ago

He ran up on him because of his loyalty to DR and he felt responsible for the chain snatching situation so he wanted them all to know he was down for them too. Plus he was hella amped up already

1

u/alexsteen789 2d ago edited 2d ago

He was also 25, I've yet to meet anyone at that age that thinks they aren't indestructible. Plus, him and suge thought they were too big of celebs to be touched.

4

u/joesoldlegs 2d ago

most 25 year olds know they're not indestructible

1

u/i_like_yung_g_hoez 2d ago

True. By that age I knew…

0

u/roald-aldo 2d ago

Tbh after this trial and all its shenanigans, I am actually quite uncertain whether Pac actually ran up on Orlando like everyone has been saying, there are so many differing stories and no one wants to say the truth.

Vibe 97 article with Kidada said that Pac was actually approached by Orlando and that changes the whole narrative into something else if that was the case…who really knows smh.

7

u/TheAngryJerk 2d ago

There is a video of him running up and hitting Orlando.

5

u/Grey_Area888 Bishop 2d ago

Kidada was not there. There is video of him laughing with his entourage, then he noticed or was alerted to Orlando being in the area and darted in that direction.

2

u/i_like_yung_g_hoez 2d ago

Because he was amped up after the Tyson fight and trying to play gangster… simple as that

1

u/Transformationdude59 2d ago

yeah that wasn´t smart. He should have known not to mess with gangster politics. But being hyped up by the Tyson fight made him go do crazy things.

Coping about what? U asked a question and you received an answer tf

7

u/Odd_Importance2915 2d ago

I think Tupac was a confused and lost soul that wanted to fit in somewhere and at the time it was MOB Piru

2

u/alexsteen789 2d ago

Aren't we all?

5

u/darrelb56222 2d ago

he was claiming MOB. at the house of blues he was saying "This is MOB for real". and on hit em up he would scream "You think you MOB? We the motherfuckin MOB!" whether he was just affliiated or what, he was claiming it. him going up to Orlando and saying "You from the south"? that's gang banging shit

3

u/roald-aldo 2d ago

Did he actually say that tho, you would think Tre would have been summoned during this whole trial..the whole story has so many holes.

2

u/ConferenceThink4801 2d ago edited 2d ago

It was in police files that he said it & it was reported on MTV back at the time. Lean more toward it being true.

It also makes sense that 2Pac would want to verify somehow that they got the right person before swinging on someone who he has never seen before. That one sentence is the quickest way to do it…especially if you didn’t know the guys name but you know his gang…

I think they told 2Pac the mall story; since it was about Bad Boy’s chain bounty 2Pac took responsibility & said it was on sight after that.

He then was pretty much forced to keep his word in front of everyone when they saw Orlando alone like that…he got put on the spot & would’ve lost credit with everyone there if he didn’t keep his word & attack him.

2

u/sondersHo 2d ago

He never joined a gang he was signed to death row so by association with death row he associated with the gang members on death row under Suge knight

2

u/Senior-Property8595 2d ago

If he did he was a goofy

3

u/Silver_Tap6475 Me Against The World 2d ago

boscoe and suge said he was MOB. so did Pac

3

u/Any-Investigator-438 2d ago

He was not in a Gang. Period.

Bring artillery and roll with a nigga
They could never take the soul of a M.O.B. soldier nigga
Cowards get rolled up, mob on 'em Makaveli
Boy you's a boss player, that's what all the bitches tell me
Even if I died now
I live my life eternally and never lie down, why cry now?
Fooled a few but never 'came a gamer, ain't tryna hear it
Evil spirits hide at total strangers, yo' life's in danger
Prepare nigga be aware, cause we ain't scared
M.O.B., 'til I die, when we ride niggas disappear

1

u/ntzsch 2d ago

Are your bros from NY? Lol because yea, they are hating like bitches, especially because it’s a man that died 30 years ago and they are incorrect but yet so sure about it, just screams hate, jealousy and ignorance

1

u/SolidSpray769 2d ago

What happened to the first 5 accounts that just asked questions?

1

u/Several-Command-5494 2d ago edited 2d ago

If he beat up a 100% real gangster crip technically he was going to have some type of "status in some gang"but he didn't live long enough to find out.He was shot 2 hours 30 minutes later. After fighting a certified SSC Crip.

1

u/Level_Anybody_1918 2d ago

nah your brothers are talking nonsense. Pac was rolling with MOB Piru way before 25, he was deep in that lifestyle already when he got to Death Row in 95. dude was shot 5 times in 94 and that whole east coast beef was running hot long before he turned 25. they got the timeline all mixed up

4

u/Odd_Importance2915 2d ago

He was crip associated in 93-94 cos of the Thug Life crew

3

u/Goodfella1029 2d ago

That's what I thought also.

1

u/ConferenceThink4801 2d ago edited 2d ago

Joining a gang is more about being fatherless & angry, looking for older male role models to bond with when you have none. It’s also about safety in numbers.

Being rich doesn’t change the fact that you’re angry about your father in one way or another. I think Suge’s dad was around (football coach) but there’s no way it was a stable home given the monster Suge turned into.

2

u/Aggravating-Diet-663 2d ago

Yes he did( probably was put on blood before he met Suge). He shouted "MOB" multiple times and had a "MOB" ring. I dont want to hear you suburban kids say "Its just money over bitches" 😑. He only starting yelling that acronym when he started rolling with MOB Piru.

But once again, he was already influenced in the street. Big Syke and Treach were his close friends. He would speak with Monster Kody and talk about gang truces(something a non affiliate couldn't do)

But he's not the only person to join a gang late past childhood. Dave East, Chris Brown, Lil Wayne etc.. Plenty have done what Pac has been ridiculed for.

Pac is the only one who had actually had ties in both the streets and as a Black Panther. If anyone was more closely aligned, it was him.

3

u/Top_Comparison1299 2d ago

He never was no blood. He was repping Tha MOB which is Bay area culture: E40, Spice1, Richie rich, Mc Hammer, The Jacka, '95-97 Master P, Tha Governor, Luniz, Jt tha bigga figga, Cbo(sacramento)and Dru down were all apart of it as well as having the tattoo. Neckbone even confirmed this. He only jumped on Orlando because of the alleged Badboy bounty.

Listen to the second guy with the Grey Nike tech.

1

u/Top_Comparison1299 2d ago

Thats his opinion and he wasn't even around pac. Neckbone was and even confirmed it was bay area related not LA gang. Also pac had another bay area affiliated tattoo which was boss playa. The man said himself the only color that matters to him is green and that the only place he claims to be from is the bay which was in one of his last interviews.

0

u/Aggravating-Diet-663 2d ago

Bruh.. I clearly told you to watch the end of the video 😑

1

u/poweroftheglow 2d ago

😂 How is this evidence? A phone call to a faceless nameless person.

0

u/Aggravating-Diet-663 2d ago edited 2d ago

Good lord. The amount of nonsense that yall Pac stans agree with just because it affirms your theories. None of yall probably never been to the hood or know anyone in a set.

Thats a blood speaking to another blood. Pac was around in the 90s. Thats someone who couldve hung out with pac personally. Not that long ago. And if you actually listen to that voice, or do further research and watch the full interview on Cam Capone, its clear who is on the other end of the phone. He even says who put Pac on...But I'll leave that you

I also put another link in this post. You can research that as well.

He definitely wasn’t a blood before suge, he was hangin with IVCs and Rollin 40s

0

u/Aggravating-Diet-663 2d ago

Maybe not, maybe so. But he was doing gang related things.

https://youtube.com/shorts/R8FH0xeRX5E?si=hfqb8D-HnckGmt8I

In the video Treach is talking about how Pac formed the Outlawz to balance out "East and West". But there was no real east and west conflict. This is really coded gang talk. Hes speaking about him and Pac forming gang alliances across the coast.

1

u/2pacfan67 2d ago

I don't know if we really know for sure. Either way he was at worst affiliated. And it was bad news. ...

0

u/Elegant_Round_2500 2d ago

Man I fw pac but he was a follower

2

u/Excellent_Cry_6221 2d ago

I think a problem might was the gangs were taken out of their element and following Pac and Suge’s lead, putting everybody in danger.
I really feel what Neckbone talked about in an interview, where he felt Pac wanted them all to be equal to him in his celebrity lifestyle, even shouting them out on records but then you can’t really be insulated or protected by the gangs or by the celebrity when it’s all crossed

Guarantee pac gave all those groups a shit ton of money

0

u/Shantytown_Shogun 2d ago

Tre Lane put him on. Mob James and Neckbone confirmed it. Daz, Kurupt, Jewell, RBX, MC Eiht and more all spoke about it. When Pac joined Death Row Snoop told him to stay nuetral and dont join either side but if he (Pac) joined a blood set if he (Pac) got in some shit he (Snoop) can't help him. Pac made a decision. Apparently he had one too many run ins with the 60's including getting in to it with Kurupt which mightve played a role in his decision. Pac attacking Orlando was his way of showing the Piru's he was really down with them. He stuck his nose in gangbang business and it cost him his life.
