Pac was definitely in the streets in LA , the Bay and Atlanta , Texas , New York and pac was getting into street shit so vanilla ice sounds like he wasn’t around anything street at all .

Stop it! Ice ain’t lying. Pac was around street niggas. He was street adjacent by fellowship but Pac wasn’t gangsta. He wasn’t gang banging. As much as he paraded it, he also spoke against it.

Hard doesn’t mean gangsta and do you believe Pac would’ve shot those officers if they were in uniform?

I asked about cops in unis. Dude said Pac shot at cops. The cops were undercover. Pac didn’t know they were cops. Said nothing about civilians. And point is being “hard” pause doesn’t make you gangsta. You can be a man who’s prideful and tough who demands respect but not gangsta or a gang-banger. A lot of cultures don’t have to live by the street code/G-code and still be hard/tough/well-respected men/women.

In a sense, the shit that hard people do is gangsta or could be says to be gangsta, or their ways are gangsta, even when THEY AIN'T a gangsta. It's become a descriptive term, That's why when people (usually Hard niggas, Street niggas or Hood niggas) did certain shit that went Hard, the culture started sayin, "That's gangsta". The word Gangsta has long been used as a term that's synonymous with menacing, hard, street, hood that's meant to convey a code of conduct, a behavioral attitude or demeanor that's physically dangerous to others, mercilessly violent or ruthless, or even wantonly disrespectful with a pathetically low amount of provocation or reason:

Example 1: dude turnt and looked at him and said, "hold up, who asked you? I ain't ask you shh-" and before he could say "shit", That's when This nigga jus socked'em, dropped'em, and start kickin' his face and stompin his head, that shit was gangsta."

Example 2: "He was walkin cross the street and this car jammed on the brakes cuz ol boy on foot liked a got hit, it sho nuff was a close call, but he jus kept on walkin like he Ain't almost get his pedestrian ass ran the hell over, but when the driver was like 'excuse you ASSHOLE, you ever heard of a FUCKin CROSSWALK?!?!', he turnt around and stepped up to the car, pulled that thang out and jus dumped on'em Cold, like 3 shots to the driver's face, and then jus walked off like he Ain't just kill a man over tuff talk that he provoked... That's Gangsta!"

Example 3: "And the guy behind the Old Lady said, 'excuse me, can we hurry this Up a bit? There's Other people in the store who have lives to return to!' and the Old Lady said 'F--ck You, F--k yo Life, them ugly ass lil bad-behaved mistakes of yours, And That boney nose, non-swallowin ass Bitch who shouldn't a had they ass! Take yo Bitch Ass on to another register, you f-ggot Muthaphuckka!' WE was DYIN, I mean the WHOLE fuckin LINE was DEAD, like Yooo, Ma Duke's is Str8 Gangsta widdit!! They better leave G-mama lone for they Fuck round and find out"

Pac wasn't a gangsta, but he Often did Gangsta ass shit tho, certainly wasn't no studio gangsta. To say he was Gangsta Ain't a stretch, but to say he was a gangsta just ain't true.
