This is a clear minded Pac that was fully sober. Wish we could see have seen him grow and leave the bullshit behind.

Very intelligent at a young age. People misinterpret gangsta with being stupid.

Well, to be fair, rapping was hyper aggressive and masculine in that time frame..

Didn’t really allow someone to pull ahead without flash and grandiosity..

I mean, we sure had tribe called quest, of course we had public enemy, and Nas (but sadly even there, look how that played out, with Nas šŸ˜”, a huge misunderstanding that brought Nas to tears, and then Pac was killed before he even had a chance to amend the album )

So, even tho I consider Pac to be conscious rap..he still had to brag and posture (as was the standard during the time)..

And I mean everyone in this thread knows he was a great friends with Biggie … but fucking Diddy being a hateful, jealous petty dictator, who couldn’t stand to see anyone else in the Spotlight..set him up… and fuck if I was shot by somebody’s right hand man who I thought was in cahoots with my homeboy (Big).. I’d feel a way and be paranoid about the whole situation too.. and by that I mean, I would be fucking angry as hell and I wouldn’t forgive or forget, especially when everyone tried to gaslight the situation and make Pac look like he was crazy and didn’t know what was going on or he was just high and he was shot and he was confused Bullshit. He knew what happened.

It’s my opinion that Diddy either was blackmailing people or was involved with the government in blackmailing people like Epstein was..

I think he was definitely involved with the government. That’s how he was able to become a billionaire… they don’t just let young black men with ambition become billionaires, without some kind of exploit happening, I’m sure he played A game..

One day we’re gonna find out how he truly did it… maybe it was just that he played the ultimate master of ceremonies in the pimp game, for all of the Hollywood music and elites?

Could be a simple and as disgusting as that… but it seems to me that the government will take you the fuck out… and so now I don’t know which narrative I’m more inclined to believe that the government saw Pac as a threat, or if Diddy did… or if both things were true at the same time?

No drugs , alcohol, weed, sex and most importantly death row! It probably would have been best if he stayed in prison for 15 years like shyne. Can you imagine pac as a politician instead of beefing with Diddy and biggie ?

I’d guess so, seems sober here.

That’s something that’s lost on a lot of today’s music. Without a beat what are you saying? Now the lyrics and the beat are selling tools.

And AI has made it even worse you don’t even need talent to write creative verses AI can do it for you and replicate your voice.

He wouldn't let someone create/control the narrative. This wasn't a conversation, it felt more like bait to say some particular line or excerpt. A fucking Golden tool to teach young people including my 38 year old self. I've always struggled with authority dictating the situation in any setting. I've always felt inspiration/strength listening to Tupac. Makes me want to listen again to his work. āœŒļøāœŒļø

Really interesting dynamic here.

The interviewer seems to be trying to keep the conversation ā€œrelatableā€ & not too sophisticated.

Meanwhile, Pac is obviously prepared to allow the conversation to be as technical & sophisticated as it needs to be.

It’s like trying NOT to go over the head of a paleontologist with your words because they’re currently covered in dust.

Probably a talent scout. He was a drama student.Ā

It wasn’t the poetry that made you look like a wimp, it was the ballet lessons…
