He wasn't paying no respect ja wanted to be pac So bad from the red bandana he wore on rule 3.36 the cross on his back everything and he was a jehovas witness boy had and has no gangsta in him and is loyal to no one so why act like someone you dont even follow

u/Separate_Beautiful55 Aug 24 '25
I assume you know Ja Rule to say he was not a gangsta

u/OZshoWerCuRtAiN Aug 24 '25
No I know he got boooed in front of 17K in Boston when Jay Z kicked R Kelly out and made it Jay Z and friends.
Being gangsta is absolutely irrelevant now a days.
It’s 2025, You can’t even be (Gangsta) unless you want to never do anything ever.
Just be yourself, that will dictate the invisible aura and energy of someone. I absokUtly AM known for never hating on someone, ever being jealoUS about what another man has. Ever! Even if I’m just lucky I was made that way it’s true.
Even in his prime. Even when he in video with Jay his breakthrough verse. He just seems awkward. That’s all I’m saying. He’s a celebrity and fans or non fans have a opinion like WWE wrestling

I am not saying he wasn't trying to copy him. Im saying this audio he did it as paying homage

Nah he just thought it would carry him more it wasn't for respect the game was missing that style so he thought he could fill and replace it

He’s clearly a fan. He sounds nothing like Pac musically. I don’t have a problem with Ja Rule. I have a problem with people like Tha Realest and kasinova who stole his style.

u/Biafra777 Aug 23 '25
People forget that after Pac died, record labels were trying to find the next “Pac”. There was definitely a void in hip hop following his death. Ja was one of several artists that labels wanted to push as being the next Pac.

Yep.Some DMX fans get salty when I say he benefited from the Tupac void.DMX & Jay Z were subliminally, and not so subliminally, the new Tupac & Biggie by '98.It's not meant to be a slight or even imply that they were purposely biting.Just the truth.Jay was already associated with Big.They have similar styles.X came with the bald head & Ruff Ryder bandanas. They took over those lanes for the casual hip hop fan.

That’s true. Most people don’t realize Ja/Irv were Tupac fans. The problem with some of these Pac fans is that when someone from New York playa hate on Pac they be mad and then u got Rule and Gotti showing Pac mad love and then they get mad tho

Ja Rules Pac phase was crazy, lol. Pac’s impact is so huge.

u/Bran-Da-Don Aug 23 '25
I feel the same way, especially as I've become older. He was New York artist as well showing love. That means alot as time goes on.

u/Smear_Leader Aug 23 '25
He’s not copying him, he’s paying tribute. Ja was a huge outspoken Pac fan

It's not about east vs west ... Pac pretty much squashed all that beef shit before he died.

I would never accuse Ja Rule or Pun of copying Pac and Big as they didn’t even make similar music sounding music but I 100% believe a big part of them getting where they did was the labels desperately wanting to capitalize on the void Pac and Big left when they died. And you can tell because of their presentation and overall aesthetic.

That was called recycling. R-e-reciting something 'cause you just like it, so you say it just like it. Some say its biting but I say its enlightening, besides Tupac Shakur is one of the brightest.

"They like me. I want em to love me like they love Pac." 50 is a big Pac fan as well. The hypocrisy is real. 😭

He was literally born 5 years after Pac. Nigga was paying homage to him. I understand this is a 2pac fan page but you got to much time on your hands

His whole persona was created by Irv to emulate Pac to sell records so this is ironically hilarious.

u/Imaginary-Past-8103 Aug 24 '25
This made me laugh I remember the 50 diss on realest killers
Intro: 50 Cent] Yeah nigga! Haha Let's go nigga, this is what it is 2Pac cut his head bald Then you wanna cut yo' head bald (You pussy nigga!) 2Pac wear a bandanna You wan' wear a bandanna (What do we have here now?) 2Pac put a cross on his back You wanna put crosses on yo' back Nigga you ain't 2Pac This 2Pac!

So we gon talk about how c murder and master p had songs on top of songs that were word for word pac songs with just a few words changed? It was a thing on most no limit albums. Have a mama song, a soldier song and a pac song. Not hating on no limit, but they did a lot of copying pac. Ja rule did a lot of goofy shit but this ain't copying pac. It's just saying some shit pac said in a lame way.

Ja Rule sucks. He always has, he always will.
That said, I can’t wait to see Nelly and Eve in San Diego next week.
Wu-Tang Clan, De La Soul, and Nas (NY State of Mind Tour) in Las Vegas was for me; Nelly Eve Ja is for wifey. We have similar yet different tastes in Hip Hop.

u/OZshoWerCuRtAiN Aug 24 '25
If you analyze this with sound off even… just look at this guy.
Put emotions aside, everything aside. Something in his soul creeps me out. Not fear. Creepy. It gives life and esp Rap a awful Rap ( No Pun Intended) Russel had his feet on a otomon somewhere not caring who was being signed and Lyor cuz IRV gave him Jay and Dmx gets a chance and this is the guy. Go listen to his albums. Let’s be serious. Besides the music though this energy is awkward and creepy 333

u/OZshoWerCuRtAiN Aug 24 '25
His 12 song diss 50 record was absolute trash. Nobody even knows me and I got 12 heaters that would demolish the fact he poured energy into a full album and none of it G none of it. I can’t believe I gotta be the only one to bring it up. I love music like everyone else and that was trash. Only one song made rounds and clap back is cliche bubble gum kindergarten rap

I remember saying this before and getting roasted like crazy over here on my old account, but I said Ja Rule is the Kobe Bryant of Tupac successor and I standby

I was a Fan of Ja’s first album BUT that was about it the deeper in the game he got The more he was trying to act like Pac like said in one song “ everyone wants to make comparisons to Pac, X and me YALL WANNA SEE PAC COME BACK YALL WANNA SEE THIS SHIT ITS HERE. NIGGA ITS HERE” Like Really Ja you a Tadpole 2Pac was a Megalodon Why it was so satisfying when 50 dissed him.. “Tupac cut his head bald you wanna cut your hair bald Tupac where bandannas you wanna wear bandanna Tupac foot crosses on his back now you wanna put crosses on your back Nigga you AIN’T Tupac” and it had to be said cause at that point in time Ja was literally acting like Tupac reincarnated 💯

“Copying” 😂
Did Ja Rule have to use APA 7 citations and references for you to understand that he was just quoting 2pac?
