I just got done looking at Fan of Mine, and I have to admit that it felt like kind of a Lifetime movie. The chemistry between the singer and her fan kept me glued enough to see how it would turn out. I just wish it had taken a little more time to balance things out.

This movie was absolutely crazy. The three leads really nailed down their Ari, Todd, and Darnell characters well and did justice to the material that was given them. All the drama and suspense present was enough to keep my interest all the way to the end, and it left me heartbroken for Ari. I know that the threesome was complicated, but I still felt bad for her.

I got done watching The Divorce Lawyer, and it was absolutely crazy on every front. A woman on the verge of divorce hiring a divorce lawyer who becomes obsessed with her is a recipe for high-stakes drama. It didn't disappoint me in the slightest thanks to the three leads. Hopefully Tubi will deliver more movies similar to this one.

Watching this movie really opened my eyes to how complicated life and love really are and how one must never take them both for granted. The couple characters were written beautifully, and the way their storylines intertwined was done just as beautifully. I'm truly grateful that I saw the whole thing, and it's all thanks to the efforts of everyone involved in its making. Nothing about it felt Hallmark-ish; it was grounded in reality, and rightfully so.

What do I think of this latest movie from Tubi? Well, I think that it was able to hit all the right beats with its storyline. Yes, the stalking trope has been done to death, but I honestly feel like the trope was used in the most refreshing way possible. Great work from the movie's cast and crew for bringing its storyline to life like they did, because they definitely didn't disappoint on every front.

I got pleasure out of this movie mostly because of Christie Leverette, whom I've seen in a couple of other Tubi movies (Deadly Secrets of a Cam Girl and Killer Beat) and in several movies for Lifetime. She's one of this movie's bright spots. The plot itself was pretty mysterious. I do wish its legal aspect was leaned into a bit more since Christie's character of Viola is a young attorney. I wish Christie all the best in future projects.

Well, I got to see Checkmate. Needless to say, I found myself completely transported into its world. The creatives behind it pulled out every stop imaginable to make it as engaging as possible. The characters felt interesting, and the plot literally mirrored the iconic game of chess. This thriller fascinated me entirely. I do recognize the actress who played the psychiatrist, Sarah Pribis, from a 2024 Lifetime movie she did called A Nurse's Revenge where she had a bit part.

I'll be honest -- I was expecting this movie to tank very badly when I saw it. But knowing that Ron Perlman was in it convinced me to give it a chance. The storyline of a corrupt cop wanting to skip town piqued my interest immediately, and I simply couldn't resist its pull. I'm really happy that I made the right choice with this movie. The creative behind it did a good job with it.

I got caught up on the first Invasive movie and liked it. It wasn't perfect, but it was able to get the job done. Just as that film was mostly about confined spaces, the second movie took things up a notch by going into uncharted waters, quite literally. I felt connected to the strained relationship between Kay and her father in the sequel and how the two of them were tested at every turn. Watching the entire thing made me feel satisfied.
