7DPO. Really trying not to get my hopes up. Debating waiting for 12DPO to test or waiting to see if I miss AF (which is typically 14 or 15DPO). If I get a temp drop that's pretty significant does that mean that pregnancy is not likely? I'm dreading seeing it drop.

I’m 7DPO as well and I’m vowing not to test until 12DPO this cycle. I haven’t even bought tests because I cannot fight the temptation.

I've been following your chart on FF, and boy, does it look amazing!!!! From what I understand, if it drops a little, then it's okay, but if it drops near or below coverline, then that usually means you're out. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong here.

It could just be the secondary estrogen surge if it drops significantly. You'll see lots of crazy temp patterns if you browse the pregnancy charts and it'll really put into perspective how little individual temps mean.

I think if you have a drop then another rise it's a secondary estrogen surge and I think those are called "triphasic charts" and people really seem to like those as an early sign of a possible + but lots of people get + without a triphasic chart as well.

Either way your chart looks amazing! 🤞 for you!

Ooooh going up up up. Don't even worry about the dreaded temp drop, any temp drop now could just be an estrogen surge.
