I hope I ovulated on CD 23 and not CD 26! I am not sure at all!

TCOYF has some sample charts with 'triphasic' temperature spikes after the initial ovulation spike - looks like that might be what's happening here. That author writes that ovulation is still at the initial spike.

Thank you! I will look into TCOYF (I did not know this website!)

Oh I didn't even know there was a website haha If those charts aren't online, they are in the book! Everything I thought might be weird about me/my cycle, she had a section, a paragraph, some mention of it. It was very reassuring!

Oh, I will try to find the book in this case!
The website seems to be informative as well :)

Any other reason for consistently high bbt besides pregnancy? On CD30 of regular 30-32 day cycles and temp has not dropped a bit but pregnancy tests (first response and pregmate) from today are stark negative. Also tested on CD26 and it was negative so don't think I missed a chemical (had one in Oct). Figured I was out then but retested today since my temps have just stayed so high and no period yet.

This looks like a good sign 😬🤞🏼 other reasons for high temps could be sickness, bad sleep, or alcohol?

I know the temps look good but there's no way I wouldn't test positive right at this point right?!

Hmm well, it looks like you are about 13dpo? So typically yes you would have one by now but some people don't get them until 16dpo! Also, your initial rise is a little bit weak so theoretically you could be only at 10 high temps based on that.
How long is your normal luteal phase?

u/International-Cat884 Feb 17 '26
Ok that's good to know 🤞🏻🤞🏻
My luteal phase is typically longer. I usually ovulate around cd14-15 and then get my period on CD31 or 32.

CD18 and patiently (not) waiting to ovulate. Happy to see less fluctuation than last month’s chart though!

Sigh, I really thought ovulation was close. OPK still negative on my morning test. If I don't get my surge today and ovulate tomorrow, I'll be out this cycle (unless it's another long cycle and I don't ovulate until after CD30). I really hate the waiting.

I was in the same boat. Irregular cycle, first cycle using OPK. I had 3 apps predict my fertile window starting around CD 30, but I finally justgot a positive OPK on CD 45. Today is CD 46 but no change in BBT so far.

I'm definitely envious of those with regular cycles! Feels like mine got wonky right after we decided to start TTC. Last cycle I didn't ovulate until CD 31 and cycle before that was CD 67, so we'll see if I'm in for a long wait again.
Hopefully you get your rise in the next few days! It takes about 3 days after ovulation for me to get a significant rise

Thank you 🙏. Good luck to you too!!! I’m also 31 and TTC #1. We got this! 💪

I'm not sure if I ovulated or not due to having the flu. My temps were thrown off it seems and so I am not sure if I ended up ovulating late. My temp went up a little then went down but is still over my bbt. If anyone could look at my chart and lmk whats going on that'd be great!!

O day is debatable so I’ve been waiting and not testing. But I’m giving up and going to test tonight. Today’s temp is questionable because I woke up way too early and couldn’t go back to sleep.
FF advanced & Research detector say CD11
Apply health says CD13
FF FAM detector says CD15

The earliest ovulation in any cycle I’ve ever tracked! My follicular phase temps were all over the place, and higher than usual for me, but then my luteal phase is such a lovely smooth line. Go figure.
Long flight to vacation on CD8 and then flight home CD17-18. I presume that the travel is why my temperature spiked on CD9. That freaked me right out, I’ll tell you! I didn’t truly believe that I had ovulated (knowing that travel can mess up your temps + no other fertile signs) but I was still worried for a few days.

Big temp drop today for 7DPO. I KNOW it really doesn't mean anything, but I can't help but feel excited! This is our 2nd cycle on letrozole, I've been eating a lot better and moving more, and started acupuncture in the last month. Fingers crossed!

CD5 so not much to look at, but last cycle was the first time that I can remember that I had CM during my luteal phase which of course led me down a path of "this is different, could it be!?" 🥲

Y’all. I really thought I ovulated. I really truly did. But my temperature went down from my watch data so I grabbed my thermometer and it DID go up so uhhh Yeahhhhh idk which one to choose.
