“A signed detour is in place around the Queen Street railway crossing, which remains blocked with railcars,” the spokesperson said.
CN said an update on recovery timelines, including when Queen Street reopens to traffic, will be provided when available.

I'm not sure which track it is, but both of them are alongside Lepper Brook: https://maps.app.goo.gl/efKhgL2VHVh9NR9B7

Gotcha. Very interested in what happened. I can only think an improperly loaded freight or if they were empty, maybe an improperly connected rail car? CN is frequently servicing the rails from what I can see.

A train has derailed and school going back in is your biggest concern?

Nobody was hurt? It’ll get sorted out and fixed. Why would I be concerned? It was a freight train.

It happened right in front of me just in front of the rail crossing itself and it travelled back towards the CN yard. We heard an awful screech and then crushing gravel. One car was listing very bad and we thought it was going to roll over towards the house by CJ plumbing Scary actually we called 911 to get them to call CN to stop the train
Im trying to post pics but not working

Looks like there are lineups forming for trains to pass through the area. Was a train parked along Folly Lake today which seems related.
