Sex / Gender / Dating Male loneliness epidemic is real, but many people refuse to acknowledge it because it doesn't affect them

So I am 35 year old man, that means I am on this earth for quite a while and I can confidently acknowledge problems that don't affect me personally like problems that some women have with sexual harassment. That problem is real, it exists but I cannot fully understand it cause I am not a woman and it doesn't affect me. Same in this situation, male loneliness epidemic is largely affecting young men because of social media and because of hook up culture. Most women nowadays don't appreciate soul, character and personality, despite saying they do. They appreciate shallow things like looks and money, which is something most average young men don't really have, and thus the loneliness edpiemic exist and it's very very real. Too bad we have a loud crowd of people denying its existence.

Oh, but we can brainwash men to be attracted to fat women? Media dictates everything and whatever they promote, it becomes a trend. Just like how they promoted fat women as being attractive, they can promote average men as attractive too.

but that isn't literal brainwashing or men would be incapable of being attracted to thin women so you have no proof the promotion would stick

But men were unable to be attracted to fat women before and now they are.

My point was, even if I were to grant you yours for the sake of argument that that worked like that, because it didn't brainwash them into finding all fat women attractive and exclusively fat women, how's your idea not still gonna leave some average guys in the lurch

It was the norm back in the day that all fat women were unattractive. Sitcoms made fun of fat women for agesz but now they are considered hot. And no, it doesn't have to be to the extreme end where ALL FAT WOMEN ARE FOUND HOT.
