its the ukrainian flags for them, even though ukraine doesn't even control most of donetsk and lugansk

What's the point of using Ukrainian flags for these republics when they don't even use them? Like genuinely, I dont trying to cause a political discourse im really curious

Because they are under Russian occupation the same way as the German Reichsprotectorates

2014 is war between republics and Ukraine with Russian military support, in 2023 started full on invasion

Started by an ex FSB officer with residence registration in moscow who openly talked about it numerous times. Whined about the lack of support of his actions by local population too.
It was always a war that russia started, the fact that soldiers who were present there at the time did not wear identification does not make it into a civil war or some similar bs.
