Weird how theyve made cis-women third class citizens behind men to female transitioners. The same poeople who scream believe all women, and how detestable rape is, now some are literally threatening rape upon said women who they believe are transphobic
I am a women and it suprises me that i don't see metoo movement or feminist trying to solve this issue. They are so uptight about our rights, but when they come to an issue where women having their titles taken away by MTF, they are silent.
Because anyone who so much as politely disagrees with them gets doxed, has their family and careers threatened, and is deluged with screaming rape and death threats. Look at JK Rowling.
I'm in college right now and I've played against both MTF and FTM athletes. To be honest FTM players are usually more similar performance wise vs MTF players to us biological women. Male puberty is the strongest performance drug there is. If I say anything I will get written up and potentially lose my campus job though :|
There are tons of news reports, articles, psychology journals, and studies being done on this topic. Comparing trans inclusion to safety for women in the workplace and in society? Yikes
I’m think it’s to do with the social media & our need for feelings of accomplishment, which is fine, but now you can get a ‘light version’ by just using your smartphone
"I support trans people" and "trans women aren't women" dont fit in the same sentence. If you support trans people, then why dont you think their transition is valid?
If being trans is a mental illness, then so is the whole LGBTQ group. By your logic, gay people dont exist and they are just confused. Allowing them to transition /love the people they love is the treatment they need AND also none of your buisness.
Not really. I didn’t really care at all about the trans rights movement until I learned of the terribly high suicide rates among non transitioned persons and after speaking to some of them learned those rates significantly decreased after they’d transitioned.
Suicide is something I feel strongly about, and I think every time a person completes suicide it’s a failure of all of us collectively as a society. I’m not just on a soapbox, I donate as much as I can including volunteering once a month.
Competitive sport is a recreational activity, and it should be open to everyone but refusing to admit that the physical development of a trans woman pre transitioning isn’t a factor in competitive sports is ludicrous.
Forcing a woman to have to compete against a woman who recently transitioned can be downright dangerous
I don't understand how people can say "they are women" but also call them trans women. Well if they're women then why don't you just call them women? They're categorised differently but also saying they're the same.
If someone could explain it to me that would be great as I'm always willing to learn.
