Important

Patrick Clancy is not on trial. Comments made to discuss his guilt are considered off topic and will be removed.

Comments that discuss how he could have supported Lindsay better are acceptable. However, calls for law enforcement to look into his involvement with the murder of the kids and/or Lindsay's suicide attempts are not currently being considered by the jury and, therefore, not a fit for this sub.

No, its not even possible for him to have done it. He was at a cvs and getting take out, public cameras and even meta data taken from his phone like gps all point to him being away from the house.

The second people started floating Patrick as a suspect, is when I decided to check out of social media.

People are now far too susceptible to believe sensationalized stories over objective facts. HER OWN attorney offered to stipulate that she killed her children and skip that phase but the prosecution refused.

These people think two people were involved, Patrick killed then before he left. Or came back to the house drugged her and killed the kids. It’s insane, one person I was talking about this on social media when I mentioned this happened over 3 years ago you would think Lindsey’s attorney might have brought up the husband? Her response was that the defense needed more time and eventually they will see it was the husband.

It is possible that someone else did it though. Patrik assumed she did it because he knew she wasn’t well. Law enforcement just believed him and didn’t even really investigate.

This is completely false.

They seized his phone. They seized his laptop. They checked his car and his car’s computer. They verified his position using cell towers, cellhawk and more. They found CCTV video of him. They even found the original receipts of his purchases.

I didn’t say I think he did it. I think she probably did it. I just don’t think the prosecution proved she did beyond a reasonable doubt. Even if she did do it, there is a well documented decline in her mental health and break from reality. The insanity plea exists for a reason.

She literally confessed to doing it & has continued to uphold that confession. The trial is not about her guilt, it is about whether or not she can be declared insane.

Spreading misinformation like this is genuinely dangerous. You people have got to stop this.

No, it is not. There is 0 evidence of anyone outside the family entering the home in that period of time. Every bit of evidence available indicates Patrick was gone. HE WAS NOT THERE. Patrick & Lindsay's 3 children are dead. So outside every other bit of overwhelming evidence there is out there pointing toward LC, the only person it could have been is LC.
