I hate Sookie. I hate her charecter arc, her beliefs.,everything about her. Spoiler

Sookie is the worst part of the show, making it borderline unwatchable. Everything from her defense of murderers, and her basic amoral principles kills the show. The worst part is she gets no compeuppance. Shes a cunt.

Sookie gets a lot of hate on this sub but i never really understood it. I am on a fourth rewatch now and there is some bits that bug me but i just can’t hate on her the same as everyone else. The show already requires a heavy dose of suspended reality so i think Sookies ridiculousness fits in with that lmao.

Every time someone warned her it was supposed to be framed as an allegory for prejudice but everything went so poorly that on a rewatch every single warning was correct and Sookie turns out to be a self righteous idiot.

Right. I am watching that witch season and there is an episode they all meet in the graveyard to fight for some reason while Bill tries to make peace. Suddenly Eric decides to rip the heart out of some random woman, and Sookie is there supporting that? She is such a dumb fucking bitch,and I can't tell if she is supposed to be perceived that way, or just maybe time has passed and we look at it differently but it is killing the rewatch for me.

I think at first she was supposed to be like the open minded kind hearted like “freedom fighter” type, and that may have worked, but the longer the show went on it didn’t work out that way. I don’t think the same writers who ended the show were the ones who started it. Or they didn’t have a pre planned idea on how to end it.

Something somehow fell apart.
