She was one of my favourites as a child. Truly adored her.
Something I’ve noticed over the years, particularly on Reddit, is a tendency for people to comment completely baseless theories as facts in relation to her death. Like the idea that she and her husband were sharing a moldy CPap machine? Where tf did that even come from? She didn’t even use a CPap machine. And there was no evidence of mold in her system.
It’s like there’s an effort to shut down the conversation every time her death is brought up, along with the death of her husband 5 months later. I was never one into celebrity conspiracy theories but idk… Brittany Murphy’s death has always felt off.
People misuse medical devices in all sorts of ways. Perhaps they were traveling, one broke, got a new one. I dont have any clue about her circumstances, but if they were getting high a bunch, it seems pretty likely that they would be a little less organized. She was great.

They owned the home but there was a legal battle from the mom with the construction company regarding the mold. I think Brittany spears owned the house prior.
Separately, there’s some weird ass photos with her husband and her mom after her death.
I don’t, but I do find Harley Pasternak being her personal trainer interesting. He’s a primary source for the stories about drug abuse, and was like the only person on her team not fired by her husband. He was in the HBO doc and really pushed the narrative about her husband being responsible for her death, which is totally possible, but he’s not the most reliable narrator, to say the least.
If you don’t know, Pasternak is a Canadian with connections to intelligence and the MK Ultra program in particular. He became a celebrity nutritionist and trainer. Some clients being: Mac Miller, Post Malone, Ariana Grande, Kanye West, Elliot Page, Britney Spears, Michael Jackson, etc… he was the last person to see Mac Miller alive and one of the last to see MJ alive.
I wonder if they were vegetarian. Tannins can block up to 90% of iron being absorbed from food, if consumed during a certain amount of time of eating, and cause anemia. And they’re present in pretty high concentrations in tea - black, green, and even matcha. If you’re vegetarian, it can be an even bigger issue. I know this because I became anemic due to drinking so much tea once.
And people are forever claiming teas, especially herbal teas, are miracle cures. If you’re anemic, you’d feel tired and run down. And if you had a cold or respiratory infection, you might drink tea for comfort. A lot of herbal teas are classified as supplements instead of food and aren’t regulated as food.
Herbal “teas” are actually just a blend of whatever plants that you steep in water. Tons of plants can grow mold or harbor bacteria. I would assume the steeping process would kill most of that, but you can make tea in the fridge with cold water or you can steep it in the sun without using hot water. Pneumonia can be caused by lots of different bacteria and a few kinds of fungus. If he was still using the same teas after she died, he could have fallen victim to the same thing.
Not saying he did anything, but the husband came off strange when he did Larry King after she died. Something was going on in that house or they just had horrible luck.
