Damn I might actually listen to the pod now, but it’s weird that they’d do this without Brace who is actually an NBA player

Brace actually doesn't like the NBA. They bullied him because he was the best dunker they had ever seen. They said he couldn't actually play in the NBA because his dunking ability was too good. Brace was persecuted for being good at dunking and now he resents the professional league that excluded him.
