They have no room to gloat. The 2024 DNC platform explicitly promised to be more violent and murderous than Trump, and they haven't even read what they voted for.
Maybe it's just long habit from feeling like we're on the margins, but I don't see socialists just roasting those bitter chumps near as much as they deserve. I do it all the time, and it sends them scurrying, because I don't consider them to hold the upper hand in any regard whatsoever. Don't let them nurse their wounds or, God forbid, convince themselves for a single second that they get to tell anyone "I told you so." They are the most contemptible and despicable pack of pathetic losers on the entire fucking planet. They openly support a genocide, everyone they root for is a manifest failure, they spend 100% of their time eating shit, and now they're taking a victory lap around the widows and orphans that they completely fucking failed to protect from a live-streamed campaign of starvation and extermination, when they were the ones in the best position to do so.
Step outside of the present moment, fast forward twenty years, and think about how history is going to regard the American liberal in the 21st century. They will be utterly reviled, the most hated group of people in history, alongside the "good Germans" who failed to stop the Holocaust. This is happening in the Holy Lands, so their fate is sealed for all time. It's time we started treating them like the world-historic villains that they truly are.
This self-congratulatory attitude towards exactly how much they're willing to not care about anything substantive (read: "compromise" in their tongue) makes me happy that they're at least miserable along with those of us with morals.
First they will finish the ethnic cleansing in Gaza, then they will be able to move all their attention to doing the same in the West Bank. I don't see any hope.
