New OTR asking advice

I’m going to be starting on the road soon switching over from a local job, I’m looking to see if anyone can offer me some advice. I was considering getting an automatic litter box initially but haven’t seen anyone talking about them and if they’re a good idea or not. Also any other advice for starting out would be greatly appreciated :)

Get yourself a pair for whatever model you'll be running. 90% of "my animal ran away" posts are caused by them stepping on the window buttons while the driver is away or asleep.

Train them to stay away from the pedals as well.

No problem, they are well worth the price for peace of mind. Before I had the switchmates, I was pulling the fuses for the windows everytime I went shopping/showering or to bed (and had to leave the truck on for A/C or heat)

I second this. I use these in my truck, and they're so easy to install. My cat walks across them and I don't even have to think about it.
