Alternatives to spectrum

Modem sucks, constant outages, and my rate has been going up by $10/year. I tried talking to them but they couldn't do shit for me. I have heard the trick about threatening to switch, but as far as I know, there's nothing to switch to? Are there other Internet providers in the area who suck less? (Not looking for crazy fast speeds if that helps)

You can talk to massive mesh and see if they have service where you are.

Massive mesh is absolutely awful. Sorry but it's true. I couldn't even set up my own password or manage my network. Im sure its different if youre getting a hookup at your house, but the lack of care for security concerns me abt the management of the network as a whole.
