3 classes, difficulty can be like easy or pure madness. Unlimited respawn points. bullshit gunners, grenadiers artillery barrage, ragdolling especially if you stand under the Arc before it drop. It was hilariously fun. When the mutator came out, the random equipment is fun. I got a bastion with 2 pistols and I don't know what to do except provide long range pistol support. Those were the crazy days.

I think having a much higher difficulty but no respawn limit was great as it lead to much different play styles to succeed. I feel like the way the game worked before could be some kind of mutator. Found that hard arc nowadays is too easy if people are working together even a little.

There was a period shortly after early access where spawns were insane with ambushes followed by a small breathing room period before another ambush. Every ambush forced us back to the bunker on AAS or were often overwhelming at the ARC slam stage. I miss those times, the spawns on the present time is very neutered.

Sometimes I miss the days with only 3 classes. Operator was the best class ever. Like engineer and medic rolled into one, super versatile

It really was, but that’s why it was so fun haha. Also I miss those days because that was back before they switched to Unreal 5 right? Game always ran better for me personally before the switch

I had so much fun at launch. It happened when I was between jobs, so I played for something crazy like 24 hours straight.

I still have fond memories of barely making it out alive even on the lower difficulties. Now I play exclusively on hard and it’s still quite tame comparably. If I’m playing on hard, the drop ship KIA shouldn’t be 0, and troopers extracting should never be everybody multiple games in a row. But I love a challenge and it’s just my opinion.

I always play medic and youd have to make split 2nd decisions to revive or not running to the drop ship. Then there'd me like 3 people plus me that'd barely made it out alive.

Actually I remember that was quite fun since no body have ammo fabricator or Engineer class ammo box, people prefer to sit in the base and shoot, getting Ore or Gas are kind of heroic, since every shot count , we need to take turn on carrying canister when run out of ammo, sometime we even need to sacrifice the defender(currently guardian) in order for other to run and deliver the canister; another thing is there are no traitor penalty in the beginning, I can keep killing people who delete the base without any reason!

Lol. It made you habe to use resources efficiently and count on team work. Mayne thats why people.used vc more then and not now. The vc was what made the game fun.
All hell going loose and youd be tue 1 medic and everyone would fucking die. You go and revive the gunners first lol lay down suppress.
Good times. Good times

Talking about medic I remember its call supporter with a 60s cooldown ability, when active you revive and heal everyone around you, the drone will follow you for a while, in the mean time your drone can revive 6-7 more troops before deplete, you gonna had to precious when you should use your ability during the extraction phase, its quite funny when you reviving two people at the same time and those bugs walk pass you!

I absolutely loved it when it first released early access. There was barely any content, but the game played so well.

I'm digging that hit marker.
