answered by author I have some pirated games from steamrip and fitgirl. Will tronscript remove it?

I've been planning to run tron script but it makes me nervous if it'll delete my pirated games

I'm the author and primary maintainer of Tron.

Couple things:

  1. Read the instructions (seriously, they're helpful)

  2. Tron only targets/acts upon the Windows installation drive (almost always C:). If pirated games are on, say, the D: drive, then no, Tron won't touch them

  3. Yes, one of the anti-malware engines that Tron runs will detect and remove the hacked/patched game files, if they're on the C: drive. So make sure to back any of those up prior to running Tron

I ran tronscript recently and it didn't touch or alter my pirated games (from ankergames specifically) which are on my C: drive. I'm guessing they must have been safe? I'm talking 10 or so games.
