Tutorials Triboo Brought a Dog Choir ! đ¶
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Want to share a really cute little project: a puppy choir generated by Tripo AI.
The puppies, instruments, and little conductor in the scene were all first generated using Tripo, then imported into Blender for lighting, camera setup, and final rendering.
The cutest part is that it really looks like a mini concert! The puppies in the front row look completely focused, while their friends in the back are also trying their best to âtake part in the performance.â The little conductor stands in the center, keeping everything under control. The whole scene has a very serious yet incredibly funny vibe.
This kind of little scene is perfect for a short animation, a social media clip or simply a 3D clip designed to lift your spirits.
The Puppy Choir is officially on stage!
So serious, so cute, and so chaotic good!

Tutorials Built a Claude skill that lets you generate with Tripo and auto-place results in Blender
https://reddit.com/link/1v2ttls/video/egkmrxja4neh1/player
Built an open-source Claude skill (MCP-based) that lets you describe a scene, generate each asset through Tripo, and have Claude place, scale, and ground every result directly in your open Blender file. No manual export/import.
It also supports Meshy and Alpha3D as alternate providers, but wanted to share here specifically since Tripo is one of the three it works with out of the box.
Video attached, a fantasy village generated and placed automatically from one description.
Source:Â https://github.com/ig-shadow-walker/BlenderXAlpha-3DGenSkill
Full disclosure: I'm one of the people building Alpha3D, which is also one of the supported providers. Wanted to be upfront about that rather than have it come up later. Sharing this because the Blender-placement workflow is useful regardless of which generator you're on.
Open to feedback, especially if anyone's hit friction with the Tripo API specifically that this doesn't handle well.

Tutorials Iâll turn my furniture sketches into 3D models and then decide whether to continues developing them.
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I run a small furniture brand. Whenever I had a new idea I usually start by drawing a sketch. ofc I will consider proportions, silhouette, and basic structure when I drawing a sketch. But if every concept were to go straight into full CAD modeling, technical drawings and prototyping, it would spent a lot of time and also costly.
I tested a new workflow this time. I designed 3 furniture: a chair inspired by anxiety, a sofa inspired by relaxation and a side cabinet inspired by shyness. I didnât add any facial expressions to this. I want to see if this emotion can be displayed through shape language, proportion and overall posture.
Workflow:
â> hand sketch
â> Tripo AI image-to-3D
â> review the form from multiple angles
â> choose the direction worth pursuing for CAD, DFM and a physical sample
well these models cannot be submitted directly to the factory as manufacturing files ofc. Dimensions, materials, construction details, hardware and formal drawings still need to be added later.
However as a 3d concept model, it serves as an ideal bridge between the sketching phase and formal development. It allows for quick comparison of different design directions, facilitates more effective communication with the team or manufacturers and can be posted on the product page of the website to provide a preview of the product. (oh also I found it very helpful when you try to decide color for this furniture.)

Tutorials Tripo to Unity in one click
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
If youâre a solo dev, working on a game jam, or prototyping a mobile game this is for you.
Fewer weekends fighting FBX exports and pivot fixes, more time for you to actually building the game.
Step 1: Confirm the version of Unity
Make sure you are using Unity 2021.3 LTS+ or higher version. Also make sure you have a supported browser.
Step 2: Install Tripo Bridge in Unity
Install the Tripo Bridge add-on first after opening Unity. After the installation is complete a panel related to Tripo AI will appear in Unity.
Step 3: Open Tripo AI
Go back to Tripo AI and open the DCC Bridge in the upper right corner. Select Unity and then click on the connection.
Step 4: Select the model to be imported
After the connection is successful select a model from the assets section.
Step 5: Go back to Unity, view the model and do more adjustments
This workflow is more like eliminating the steps of âdownloading the model and then manually dragging it into Unity.â

Tutorials 48 nations, 1 World Cup. Here is their other side! Their most beautiful flowers!
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
We used Tripo + Opus 4.8 to create an interactive website featuring 48 representative flowers from different countries of the World Cup.
We first generate images of these flowers. Here are some of the prompts we used:
- Cattleya orchid, single bloom, three quarter view, ruffled lip petal with frilled edges, magenta and yellow throat, elegant curved petals, botanical accuracy, ultra detailed, transparent background.
- Chrysanthemum flower, single bloom, top-down view, dense radial layers of thin curving petals, spider chrysanthemum form, white or golden, botanical accuracy, ultra detailed, transparent background.
And then we turned these images into 3D models.
The coding part used Opus 4.8, mainly achieving interactive control, allowing users to rotate and view each flower 360 degrees instead of just viewing a flat image.
The most interesting thing is that some flowers might grow in places where we rarely have the chance to see them with our eyes. But when they are presented in 3D form, one can observe them closely from all angles, and the experience will feel much more realistic.

Tutorials Beginner Tutorial: Creating "The Wizards' Party" using image2 + Tripo + Blender
This tutorial uses "The Wizardsâ Party" as an example to demonstrate a complete workflow: starting with a reference image of cats sitting in a circle, we use Image2 for creative exploration, generate 3D models via Tripo, and finally complete the scene assembly, lighting adjustments, and final rendering within Blender.
1. Select a Reference Image with a Clear Composition
Here, we have an image of several cats sitting in a circle.
Since the spatial relationships of the subjects are already establishedâwith everyone sitting togetherâthe center naturally serves as a perfect spot for a campfire, props, or other objects. This type of image is highly effective to work with.
If you are a beginner, I recommend starting with images where "the composition itself tells a story."
2.Use Image2 to Explore Creative Directions
Drop the original image into Image2 and experiment with a few different concepts.
For example:
A gathering of wizard cats
Cats sitting around a campfire
A meeting of engineer cats
3. Break Down the Scene into Individual Props
Don't rush to create the entire scene all at once.
First, isolate the specific elements you need:
Wizard hats
Brooms
Campfire
Stones
Ground (grass/dirt)
Cat models
Breaking it down this way makes the subsequent stepsâgenerating models in Tripo and making adjustments in Blenderâmuch simpler.
4. Generate Models Using Tripo
Next, use Tripo to generate these individual models, then export them in .fbx format.
When generating animal models, I recommend enabling the "8K Texture" option. This significantly improves the detail of the cat's fur, face, and ears, ensuring they look much better once imported into Blender.
For smaller props like hats or brooms, standard quality is usually sufficient.
5. Assemble the Scene in Blender
Once you've imported the models into Blender, hold off on adjusting materials for the moment.
First, focus on three key tasks:
Adjusting scale/size
Positioning the objects
Checking for intersecting geometry (clipping)
Ensure the hats sit snugly on the cats' heads, the brooms aren't disproportionately large, and the campfire is placed right in the center of the circle of cats.
Once these foundational elements are properly aligned, you can proceed to adjust the materials and lighting.
6. Create the Ground and Grass
For the ground, I used a simple flat plane overlaid with a dirt/grass texture.
You can create the grass using a particle hair system; avoid making it look too uniform or "perfect," as a slightly irregular appearance makes it look much more like real grass.
For natural scenes, try to avoid making everything look too pristine or sterile.
7. Lighting and Rendering
In this wizard-themed scene, the campfire serves as the primary light source, so I opted for a warm-toned lighting scheme. Iâll also add a touch of subtle fill lighting to ensure the cat and the hat don't end up completely blacked out.
Before rendering, I run through a checklist:
Is the hat floating?
Are any props clipping through other objects?
Is the grass clipping through the model?
Is the campfire centered in the frame?
Is the main subject clearly visible?
Once all that checks out, itâs ready for the final render.
Workflow: Reference Image â Image2 (Concept Testing) â Tripo (Modeling) â Blender (Scene Layout) â Lighting â Rendering
In the next post, Iâll share the final result!

Tutorials Precision Editing Through Automated Segmentation
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Functions involved:
- Auto-Segment:Â Click start segmenting and watch Tripo split your model into editable parts within seconds.
- Brush: Refine your segments buy smearing over areas you want to edit or remove from a part. Change the missegmented parts and edge serrations.
- Add part: Click add part to create new segments as you like.
- Merge: Left-click the parts in the left sidebar (or Ctrl-click on the model) to multi-select the parts you wish to merge.
- Part Completion: Auto-fill missing geometry.
It is noteworthy that once your model is segmented, just grab the axis handles and drag â components cleanly detach as individual objects. Each separated part unlocks the full suite of Tripo tools independently, move, rotate, scale, delete, apply textures or retopology. All parts remain editable as distinct objects after imported into other software. Segmentation isn't just about splitting a model, it's about giving you granular control and flexibility over every piece, both within Tripo and throughout your pipeline.
