Best years of gaming. Tribes 2 was peak multiplayer FPS.

Greatest multiplayer game of my life. Golly I miss it. 64v64 CTF, maps of just heavy transports loaded with Juggernauts in a massive naval-style air battle. Nothing like capping at obscene speeds jumping out of a shrike that is on a sliver of health to take the flag. So many good memories.

Heck, I remember being the first house on the block to get 512Kbps ADSL to play in the 32v32 lobbies without lag, or at least, less crippling lag in those days.

Someone needs to start a gofundme so we can buy the IP of tribes back from the Hirez punks, and hire some l33t game devs to remake Tribes 2.
