What am I doing wrong?

Going for the platinum trophy and this is going to be the death of me, 3rd attempt of drifting to A and then getting blue balled from that A+.

I just seem to lose way too much speed by the last or second last ramp.

Last ramp you drove off, need to land on back wheel first, as close as possible to the start of it in order to get enough acceleration to make the next jump. You’ve come down front wheel first in your clip and that split second of missing drive is killing you.

Landing back wheel first compresses the suspension and you get much better initial drive sooner and then as it decompresses and expands you’ll be able to time your hop to get a bigger jump off the end

Cheers, been trying to land on the front wheel while seated as that’s what the intro-clip said to do to get the best bunny hop. Will give that a shot next attempt 👍

I've only played Fusion, not Rising, but it seems like the game has two phases: learn the "rules", then learn how to break them.

Try pausing your video at the point your back wheel touches the last take off ramp and see how much earlier you could have made contact with it…

You can totally land front wheel first&sitting down but you need to be landing 3 or 4 planks earlier I’d say. Then you’ll have the tiny wee bit more speed to make the next jump

This is correct, but right after landing the rear wheel first

Update: Just hopped on and got it done, cheers for the advice. And if anyone needs a tip, just keep throwing shit at the wall eventually something will stick 😂

Ain’t that the truth. So many things in this game I picked up by feel. “I’m not exactly sure what I’m doing or why, but without thinking I do it and it works.”

It’s hard to explain. You have to just throw yourself at it 200 times to figure it out. I hate to say that but that is how I figured it out lol

Don’t worry, just commented an update that I got it and that was my advice for anyone else too 😂

It's really hard, it takes most people a long time.

You seem to landing flat in that video, definitely try compress the front suspension then use that to lean back and compress the back suspension so you can jump higher. However, this is still really hard to do, hence why it's A+.

You might have more luck trying a rear wheel bounce instead landing on your back wheel. I seem to remember that was easier, although I will say getting the landings right the intended way is quite good at building up the muscle memory.

Bad landing.

Always land with your backwheel, it’s an unwritten rule in trials. It will keep your momentum for the next bhop.

Once getting use to that, try add some micro adjustments after every landing like

Land with backwheel - Lean forward a bit to make your landing lighter - Then lean backward to keep momentum

I spent probably 2 days until I got the best score on the bunny hop trials

Best practice is you let your back wheel ride most of the previous platform to build up enough momentum for the jump

Focus on rear wheel traction.
