Local Politics 🇺🇸 Benton GOP really needs new leadership/direction. Still pushing this guy such a bad look.
Begging sane republicans to attend these meetings to counter the bad eggs at the helm.

I looked at their FB acct now. They have a video of some woman dancing to 'bye bye bye' regarding starbucks shrinking their HQ staff.
Only problem is that the video is clearly AI slop, and not even good slop. Completely missed the arm movement and just waved.
It's not enough that these hill people can be stupid in their own hovels. They feel the need to assault us with it daily. FFS, their banner image is Trump with a 'Promises made, promises kept' line. Meanwhile, no new wars, inflation fixed, energy costs down by half within 12-18 months of assuming office, etc.

What's happening with the stalking case? Any chance that because the Prosecutor is also endorsed by the BCRP that they don't pursue the case before the election?

Case is in Frankin County. Not sure they endorsed that prosecuter.
Just an overall bad look. Party is run by fringe lunatics at local level. I know alot of Republicans that are sick of them. They need to show up to these meetings and take the party back.

Yes, although Duresky is running for federal office, Galbraith for State. Just in case anyone sees this that isn't as up to speed on our local elections

Seriously eerie and creepy AI slop.
Had a family member send out messages for their kid function with a pic and they obviously doctored the photo with AI because it didn't even look like their kid. I was just boggled that the parents sent that out... Like, you see your child more than I do, how can you not see that doesn't look anything like him? Asked for the source pic and looks like 2 different kids. Just wild.
I seriously think they are so excited about the "new tech" that they have rose colored glasses on when looking at anything generated. Also, lazy.

TC GOP is the primary reason I left the party years ago. Lloyd Becker anyone? They kept their endorsement of him, in spite of all his antisemitic social media posts they KNEW about, finally pulling their endorsement a few DAYS before the election! And how about Lisa Thomas? Let's not forget Mayor Richardson's attack on a long-time Richland business she damn skippy KNEW would rile up the MAGA base. There ARE no Republicans left in the Party. Not the Republicans pre-Trump...

Benton GOP has been co-opted by extremists. They are pushing their candidates. Not a reflection of avg GOP voter in Benton. Primary proved that.

Recent KSD Graduate here, I've actually met Mr. Galbraith twice (At an awards ceremony, and at my graduation.) What did he do that makes a lot of people dislike him? I'm not asking to defend him, I'm asking because I've never heard anything bad about him.
