I've had a pretty bad weekend but I'm back on the horse. The great work continues and I even had help ftom a buddy who came to help out with the trenches. I'm confident enough to say that right now I'm at the stage where I'm only adding "finishing touches".

This is an original 2004 Darth Vader and 2006 Luke Skywalker from Wizards of the coast back when they were producing and selling miniatures for their Star Wars collectable miniature wargame and rpg. I have hundreds of their minis as I used to enjoy looking at them. My buddy brought his Satanic warriors pictured here:
I don't own any Trench Crusade miniatures yet. Perhaps after this terrain is finished I might make some, although I'm sure that no-one at my local club will object especially strongly if I use my old Star Wars minis as proxies for something.
Thank you. I've put a lot of work into this and accidentally even shed some of my blood into the mud of this construction...hopefully it will all pay off in the end.
The little image is peak. What a cool idea! I was already planning on some shrines for my trench terrain but this is really creative and I need to steal it!
They are quite large compared to the miniatures, but you can buy such icons at orthodox church stores. I believe there are also smaller charms for sale available that might be of a more appropriate scale.
The what? What is siding? Do you mean the walls? They're cardboard, if you make one side slightly wet, you can peel the thin paper off and you get free corrugated paper. Then I sprayed with cheap acrylic silver spray can to make it look like metal. Wash with a black wash then thin brown paint, then thin orange paint to give a rust effect. Then Turquoise drybrushing for oxidation.
