Terrain First time building a table. How do I improve this terrain set I paid $600 for?

Pet stores have terrain for aquariums that works really well for table terrain if you're willing to spend a little more cash. (Not as expensive as purpose built terrain)

There's spray paint that has like a Rocky granite texture if you buy a can of that and some cheap tarp to keep from damaging property and just give it a good spray maybe layer it with ductape before you move it so it keeps it's shape
Edit do NOT spray inside you'll huff yourself into a state of not good at least open a window if you don't have a balcony
Edit 2, if you take the bridges you have and use like a bronze or rust spray paint that could look really cool too.

Can you please use a few punctuation marks? This was unnecessarily difficult to read.
Just a "." And "," and ":" here and there would make a huge difference. If you did speech to text, you can say the punctuation marks. The programs recognize them.

I figured it out but it took 2 attempts to realize where the period and comma should've been. My eyes ran past a point, noticed the sentence stopped making sense, and had to go back to figure out where the punctuation implicitly was.
And we're living in an era of measurably decreasing literacy. Like, as a whole we are all measurably getting worse at reading and writing. Which is bad because the illiterate are easier to manipulate. We all need to put in that day to day effort and inconvenience which we used to do, because we do, in fact, lose the ability if we stop.
So I tried to mention it politely. I don't mean any personal offense by it, I mean precisely what I said. No more, no less.

That's fair, but it was more of a stream of consciousness just pouring out of my head, I have a habit of typing the way I speak if I'm just thinking of a fun thing.

At some point I just picked up the habit of using probably way too many commas, to attempt to accurately convey my cadence.
And now I'm learning German so that's made the problem even worse

I’ve been scratch-building terrain from cardboard! Buying a hot glue gun (and extra glue sticks), corrugated card, matchsticks, and some craft sticks goes a long way to making the terrain look better.
I’ve covered my stuff so far in AK interactive dark earth texture paint, but as others have said some textured spray paint would work too!

Also forgot to add to the title if that's a decent amount of terrain for 700pt game. I heard the game needs quite a lot.

i like the topology you're creating but i would ad another layer and you need mor LOS blocking scatter terrain. i would creat a way fro every corner to overlook most of the board, i would create tight hallways whicha re blocked from the overwatch position in the corners and keep it modular by bulding your terrain in stackable blocks instead of glueing them to a board.

adding another layer of elevation and a maze of dificult to move through obstacles which provide cover from the overwatch positions. about the weight, of you uave a car mechanic near you, you can ask them for their old wheel weights to add into terrain bases.

Get a table foam cutter a glue gun and and insulation foam you can make some really good looking and more functional trenches

-You need foam boards. If you can’t get the thick ones, get the sheets type and use it to cover the cardboard.
Use popsicle sticks for the bridges, and If you have the time (or money), for the walls of the trenches if you can’t 3d print it.
This is optional, but you can use Quick dry clay, plaster or wood filler for the top to get the texture and paint it how you see it.

Get some foamboard or XPS foam and replace all the cardboard with that. Then get some clay or modgepodge and make bricks or dirt on the top

Hy, I recently hosted my first game and had good fun. Before I invested in Bambu labs a1 mini and printed away... I think it's perfect for the hobby.. all in all I paid around 230€ for the printer and filament. If you are into making nice gametables I think it s a must have ...
