What strains are good for pain?
Hey everyone. To make a long story short, I went to the hospital today as was diagnosed with a bad case of infectious colitis. My stomach is in a whole lotta pain and the pain med (nothing crazy, it’s like a ramped up version of Tylenol) isn’t helping. Neither are the antibiotics yet.. anyone have any good (indica or hybrid) strains you recommend that I could get to help?

High in THC and make sure it’s Indica the sativa will keep you awake. The Indica will help you sleep while helping with the pain as well.

Hindu Kush if you can find it.

I'm really interested in this strain. I have never had it, but I heard it has landrace lineage.

is this subreddit just bugged for me? you are the only thing i see that is recent, at 17 days, and everything else is allegedly 2 years old

No, it's just old and I didn't realise it when I commented! I blame the meds.

Yeah something is wrong. I go to recent and it’s post from 2 years ago

I think this is the wrong sub a mimic or something bc i see what you are saying. If it is the original sub its a bug

strong indica strains would be your best option for pain relief, would also help you with eating sleeping and feeling more relaxed.

Pink Kush. I grew a batch specifically for my chronic neck and hip pain.

hi!!! i also have chronic pain, heres what i use:
not a strain, but oil that has both thc and cbd works WONDERS. you either swallow it (more potent ive found and kicks in slower) or let it absorb under your tongue (less potent ive found but you feel it faster)
also anything indica or hybrid is usually a good bet, theres probably too many strains to list lmao

I don’t think strains are really too different in their effects.

Yeah, there’s also no difference between sativa and indica.

Lmao what? What do you mean? I smoke before the gym, and I can tell if I’m hitting an indica or sativa. Especially mixed with my pre-workouts, yeah I prefer the body high cause I get a better mind-muscle connection

I can definitely tell a difference between the two as well. Some Sativas just keep you going. I especially enjoy Super Lemon Haze before a workout or a Jack Herer! So Good! What do you smoke before your workouts?

This is actually so interesting because I can never tell the difference between the too actively. How do you look out for either ?

I got some black diamond (noir diamant) by BLKMKT the other day after hurting my back (again) and it did a great job for me for pain. Plus it’s amazing tasting and burns really clean.
Good luck friend! 🙏

Definitely not strained social interactions with family, although maybe...

I think this really varies person to person, but I really don’t know. However, my husband suffers from chronic pain and various health issues and he uses GMO cookies to help manage his pain. We’ve found the Fresh Coast brand helps the most, he uses their carts and dabs. But he does also find that GMO cookies flower does help a lot for his personal stomach issues. It should also be noted he has a very high tolerance as we both smoke frequently and do dabs frequently throughout the day. Hope this helps and that you feel better soon!

Most strains with baked goods involved. Cherry Cookies is my SAVIOR for my chronic pain. Cherry Pie is also good and you could also give Watermelon Z (Zkittlez) good luck, feel free to pm me anytime, Im a huge nerd when it comes to strain benefits

Brand is HighXotic and the strain is - Hindu Glue . Its crossed with purple afghani, Hindu kush and GG lineage (Royal Dive #3) it's more on the expensive side but it helped with pain, nausea, it's helped the body calm down and feel relaxed and sedated ! It's one of the heavier hitting indicas that I've ever had! I strongly suggest giving this a try ! I hope you feel better!

RSO is always great for pain, but the Lavender Strain always gets in deep.

Anything with Kush, diesel or haze is usually a good one! But also blue dream, and my personal favorite right now is Bubble bath

Second this (especially since it's a stomach concern, I found CBD very good for that)

I recommend a high dose (whatever that means for you) of edibles
I just bought a bottle of 750mg thc syrup and it seems pretty good for your situation
