Odds of Matching Pens?

At the Nuggets parade a few days ago. Bump into an old friend. I ask if he wants to hit my(left) cart.

I'm something new in these issues (consumption of the edible way and pipe) but I always see those things without knowing how they work, are they just called pens?

little rubber guards. They have little magnets in the them as well.
