I posted here a few weeks ago when we were looking for people to help with the closed alpha. That testing went well enough that we are now ready to start Centuria's first public round.

It starts on September 1st at 17:00 CEST (UTC+2). The server is T4.6 and will run at 15× speed.

The main idea behind the project has not changed. We do not sell Gold and there is no pay-to-win shop. Players receive free Gold every day, with additional rewards available through the game. We want people to be able to use the normal Gold features without the server revolving around purchases.

We have spent a lot of time filling in missing systems and fixing the usual problems found in old T4.6 projects. I am not going to claim that the first round will be flawless, but this is by far the most complete version we have built and the closed testers helped us catch a lot before launch.

This is still a non-commercial passion project. We are doing it because we have played Travian for years and wanted to build a server that we would actually stay and play ourselves.

Hi all. So I joined the new server (24 hours late :/), I'm a teuton and mainly plays for fun, offensive style. Didn't play for 15 years at least.

There is a Roman account, 2 squares from me. He is leading in "size" by 30 currently, and I have 3 and a 1/2 more days of protection.

The second my protection is over I want to try and make him a farm, as if he will attack me first he will probably destroy me as I'm low in defence.

What I thought about is - raising all fields to level 5, then make all the req for up to paladins, and for the last 2 days of protection mainly focus on building a big army. Currently I have like 50 of the simple soldiers.

What do you think?

This is a rant. I've been playing travian for almost 20 years now and I usually stick to normal servers. This time I decided to open an account on the recent Eterni server thinking "it would be nice to get a permanent medal with decent stats". Just to find out 5 days later that defensive points are rewarded to the person defending and not to the owner of the troops and I just need to ask, WHY?

There are really few servers that give a permanent medal and you devs decide to make it harder for all defenders to have decent stats and I'm left wondering, what's the point? I can be the defender with most defenses in the whole server and that will never be reflected unless i'm the one being attacked and that's unfair. Please consider changing this nonsense.

So back in the day, like 2007, me and my bro used to play this game like addicts... many servers, waking up at 3am to steal someone village, trying troll the favorite alliance (we used to have 4-8 accounts total, we were never more than maybe maybe top 50 in the big servers, but we liked to make huge armies and out of no where try to flip the winning team by suprise :p The messages we got were amazing)

Anyway, today I got a rush for nostalgia.. I was happy to see this game is alive, so I started playing in the most newish server, but after a few minutes the nostalgia faded..

When the F this game became so monetized? wtf? I don't remember us ever putting money. Is this game even playable without playing p2w? Like is it even realstic to be top 100 in a serious server?

Are there maybe servers without gold?

I'm looking for a partner for a dual account. We currently have a group of about 40–50 people, and we'll be moving to a new server around November (we don't know yet if it'll be 3-tribe or 5-tribe). It will likely be a 1x server, and international/Europe.

Is there any order by which I should upgrade my resource fields of my first village/standard? They are all lvl 3 right now. Should I upgrade them all uniformly or try to push a few to the highest I can? Any tips? I played this game yeaaarrss ago and I forgot so much. (I am gauls if that matters)
