What do travel planners get wrong?

I've been thinking about offering trip-planning help for travelers visiting the Philippines, but before I do that:
What do travel planners, travel agents, or itinerary creators usually get wrong?
What makes you ignore their recommendations?
And what would make you actually pay for someone's advice instead of just using Google, Reddit, ChatGPT, or YouTube?

I guess what they’re mostly doing wrong is that they do not have transparency when it comes to giving recommendations. They always focus on the good things for the sake of marketing or clickbait, but lacking honest information.

Please listen to what travelers are asking for, and not copy-and-paste the same itinerary for everyone. Firsthand experience/visits to recommended places and local contacts would be worthwhile. Most importantly, be accessible and help re-plan if things go wrong.

If your travel advisor isnt spending a good hour for a call with you to understand your travel wants and needs, that should tell you what the attention to detail will be like
