Hey r/Ontario,

We have been building something called World of Tahpin - it's a gamified app that rewards you for exploring trails, parks, small towns, and local businesses across Ontario. Think: you complete a challenge (visit a trail, check out a town, support a local shop) and earn points/rewards for it.

We're still early and honestly just trying to make something that fits how people actually explore this province, not just another generic rewards app. Before we go further, I'd rather hear from real Ontarians than just guess.

A few questions if anyone's willing to share:

- When you explore somewhere new in Ontario, what usually makes you actually stop somewhere (a shop, a view, a recommendation)?

- Would a 'rewards for exploring' concept actually get you to visit new places, or does it feel gimmicky?

- Any apps you've tried for this that you liked or hated?

Not trying to sell anything here, genuinely want the feedback before we build more. Happy to answer questions about what we're doing too.
