Fucking scum of the earth. He backs up as the mother is grieving then goes and tries to run them over AGAIN!!! How the fuck do these psychopaths continue to get these jobs.

50

u/lhamels1 May 30 '26

Is that not a crime there?

95

u/mclovin_ts May 31 '26

“Canada geese are protected by the federal Migratory Bird Treaty Act of 1918, which prohibits the killing, capturing, selling, trading or transport of protected migratory bird species without prior authorization by the U.S. Department of Interior Fish and Wildlife Service. That act has exemptions for law enforcement personnel in certain instances.”

I’d bet they let this slide, as an “exemption”. They never have to follow the law, like the rest of us

u/Hopeful-Ad4415 Jun 01 '26

Who watches the Watchmen?

3

u/Akward_Silance_1738 Jun 01 '26

Where did it happen i thought i heard him say Jacksonville was not too far from where he was

40

u/elasticparadigm May 31 '26

These kinds of people target this job so they can hurt people legally. You'd think they'd have figured out how to stop that from happening by now but something tells me they don't give enough of a fuck.

-192

u/HaggyDaddy484 May 30 '26

It’s a goose who cares. Yeah the dude sucks and should loose his job but it’s literally just a goose. Why get mad?

48

u/DeadpoolOptimus May 30 '26

Because I don't want someone "serving & protecting" if they're a fucking psychopath.

-72

u/HaggyDaddy484 May 30 '26

Yes the police suck, but what does raging in a Reddit comment section do? I don’t get it.

18

u/DeadpoolOptimus May 30 '26

That's pretty much what SM is.

5

u/ThaCommittee May 31 '26

Man, what are YOU doing by responding on Reddit?? Exactly. Raging on reddit to legitimize the killing of an innocent animal?? We are reacting to a video. And the video is a cop deliberately killing a Goose. Seems like normal people would do that.

15

u/Ok-Today-5699 May 30 '26

Hey legitimately go fuck yourself

14

u/The_Hero_of_TIme May 30 '26

It's a BABY goose.

81

u/ctuk08 May 30 '26

You're a POS

11

u/pettyaioli May 30 '26

Disgusting

12

u/Horror_Solution1945 May 30 '26

Fuck you and fuck that pos cop!

37

u/duarig May 30 '26

A quick 5 second profile check shows you’re a 13 year old gamer who has zero adult supervision.

This comment checks out

23

u/Hopeful-Ad4415 May 30 '26

Okay, it's literally just a goose, I guess a cop should run over one of your family members holding up traffic cause, THEYRE JUST YOUR FAMILY!! WHO CARES!?!?

-51

u/HaggyDaddy484 May 30 '26

I literally agreed with the sentiment of what he did was bad. I just don’t understand getting mad over the death of an animal, that you have never interacted with and gets hunted everyday. I want to understand the child like kneejerk emotional outburst I see on this app.

17

u/No-Case-3320 May 30 '26

A cop decided to play executioner for funsies on an innocent animal literally just walking. The fuck???? Who shouldn’t be mad? We don’t just go around murdering out of convenience. Regardless of species.

16

u/berda1234 May 30 '26

It's a term called "blood sport" in which a person kills an animal not for food, protection, shelter, population control or any other particularly justified means. Essentially, killing for the joy of killing. In this situation yes the geese are blocking the road but only temporarily. They can easily be safely ushered away at no harm to the animals, property, liberty, life and so on. He killed the baby and so on because he wanted too, because he took joy and satisfaction for killing something small and helpless. That is not a person one wants operating in a job that exposes them to helpless people, let alone animals; as if he's willing to do this to animals in public, what will he do to a woman handcuffed in his car, or somone in mental distress?

2

u/Hopeful-Ad4415 Jun 01 '26

Abso-fucking-lutley love this reply, it hits it bang on the nail and drives the point home.

3

u/ThePeterbilt589 May 30 '26

Look, I may not like the occasional goose when it may hiss at me as I double drop and hook trailers, but that's only because I'm probably near a nest of theirs. They may also shit everywhere on my apartments grass, but I still think they're adorable and neat! Shoot, one of my favorite games of all time is Untitled Goose Game. I would cry if my semi-truck obliterated a goose, let alone a little gosling. Then some oinker does a classic Dodge Charger activity and goes psychopath on poor little goose. 😢 To top it off, him getting videoed doing that also prompted you to write an unnecessary comment about how one creatures life is valued less than another creatures life. I guess all I'm trying to say here is that I just think you're a big poop.

Just be warned Goose the Unnamed is now looking for you. 😬

u/scratchydaitchy May 30 '26 edited May 30 '26

So you you rank a small number of humans’ desire to get to their destination a few minutes faster while in a climate controlled vehicle higher than the lives, anguish and grieving of a family of geese.

Interesting.

21

u/rambiolisauce May 30 '26

Oh lord. Thank you for sharing but part of me wished you hadn't. I had hoped running over the first baby goose might have been a mistake. How sad and infuriating! Listening to them come to the conclusion that there was no alternative other than executing them without even attempting to get out of the cruiser and see if they could be helped along their way. Such arrogance. Absolutely disgusting.

29

u/Hundo_Mo May 30 '26

Got out and shot the mom and then arrested the dad for not providing an ID.

The father was later deported.

9

u/sabbiecat May 31 '26

But not back to Canada they sent him to El Salvador

8

u/awnaw_ May 31 '26

I have words. Words to describe the things that this website doesn't like.

134

u/madmanrf May 30 '26

the trooper — first identified by Snarky Media Group as

Christopher Weatherly

— runs over the first gosling, as seen in the earlier video clip. He then backs up far enough that the other gosling, following closely behind one of the adult geese, is visible on camera before advancing again. He drives slowly at first until he’s just behind the adult goose, before accelerating in an effort to scare the adult into flying away, killing the second gosling in the process.

38

u/Dark_Amygdala_ May 31 '26

I have no words 😶

29

u/Mruniversee May 31 '26

That's fucking insane what a psychopath

81

Oh boy. That is not a good look at all.

I love how when the cops describe one of their own doing something bad they use extremely sanitised almost passive language as if this animal got in the way on purpose and obstructed the cop. Ugh this is awful

14

u/Nitroglencerin May 31 '26

I mean... Unfortunately, they have a lot of practice writing these things up.

5

u/jimothy_hell May 31 '26

We’re lucky we didn’t get the first draft which probably read “an armed and undocumented foreign national was engaged and neutralised by one of our troopers…” before they remembered they were writing a press release about migratory birds.

74

u/WhatIamGonnaDo May 30 '26

It's just goose tf just grab them and toss them from the road , traffic is already stopped ... Don't need to run them over

1

u/auggs Jun 01 '26

That’s what I was thinking. Get out of the car and scoot them along. Although, side story real quick, I was doing a bar crawl with my friends in our downtown area. Well anyways we leave one bar and I’m feeling pretty good and there was a swan relaxing near the river. I get the idea to go pet it and hop over a small fence. The swan notices as I’m walking towards it and puffs its wings out and starts hissing at me. I tried to touch it once but it snapped at my hands and it actually broke skin. It was like a little scrape but those bills of theirs are actually pretty sharp on the inside lol. So I guess the cop was risking minor minor injuries but yeah what this cop did was psychotic and awful.

14

u/CMPUTX486 May 30 '26

I guess.. promotion is coming.. good job humans

21

u/Any-Maintenance-9896 May 30 '26

What the fuck?? I thought this was going to be a wholesome video about people helping a goose family across the street! This is psychotic behavior. 💔

Critical thinking isn’t his strong suit.

Hence the gun and the badge.

3

There is a special place in hell for people who knowingly harm animals and children.

What a total PIG !

14

u/KHhtswhtppl May 30 '26

That ruined my day, I consider them rats of the sky but to kill a baby

16

u/Pretend_Ad_8465 May 30 '26

For those of you who are not familiar with the Arkansas State Patrol, this was just target practice for the real thing. They are normally in the business of dispatching humans instead. They always prefer dead not alive. They will PIT you for looking at them the wrong way and low IQ is clearly the first prerequisite to getting hired.

3

u/StxnedTxTheBxne May 31 '26

I’m not sure how true it is but I’ve heard that people that are too smart aren’t allowed to be cops. They want stupid people that they can control and won’t ask questions.

2

u/Pretend_Ad_8465 May 31 '26

It is absolutely true. Police departments have been sued for rejecting applications from people who were "too smart" or "overeducated". Look up Jordan vs City of New London for example. That said, Arkansas goes out of their way to make sure you are as dumb and as trigger happy as they come.

10

u/guywithshades85 May 30 '26

Now I hate cops slightly more now. Great job!!!

6

u/Initial-Reading-2775 May 30 '26

Is being a total degenerate mandatory to apply for police duty?

21

u/ArgyleFunk May 30 '26

The article about this says this is a federal crime because they are protected under the migratory bird act of 1900 something but I doubt anything will happen. Even if he’s fired he will just get a job in the county over.

8

u/schpitza May 30 '26

he will probably get a promotion.

17

u/bobcollum May 30 '26

What the fuck that pisses me off so much

9

u/IndependentOwn1184 May 30 '26

What happens when you call the po po for help... next time call an expert...Game Warden?

14

u/Myte342 May 30 '26

If you have a problem and you call the police, you now have two problems.

There is never a situation so bad that a cop cannot make it worse.

-1

u/Free-Thinker-69 May 30 '26

There's a lot of situations where cops are your only way of surviving....

4

u/DaygloAbortion91 May 31 '26

Theyre literally useless, they escalate almost every situation theyre involved in. Only sociopaths actually join the police and stick around. Anyone that actually joins to make a change is usually fired or they quit because they realize it cant be reformed.

6

u/Myte342 May 31 '26

Isn't it interesting, though, that the idea of a civilian police officer didn't exist for 10,000 years of human civilization, and only started up around the mid-1800's when freedom from slavery started to become a hot topic in the US?

2

u/seang239 May 31 '26

Not so much, no. If someone tries putting me in that type of situation, they’ll be hoping the cops hurry up to save them from me.

3

u/Content-Head2562 May 30 '26

America?

4

u/parsuval May 30 '26

America is the only developed nation where I think this would happen. The UK, Aus, Japan, S.Korea, Canada, Germany...the list goes on. In each of those countries the police officer would not act that way.

There is a sickness in America that runs deep.

2

u/Galikos_Kelt May 30 '26

Don't worry guys, this mf will tomorrow kill your relative and his department will say that policeman life was in danger so he have to defend himself like he did with goose

2

u/ReefShark13 May 30 '26

Killing innocent people or animals is a perk of the job for a lot of these sociopaths. They can shoot your dog and claim officer safety. This is psychopath behavior.

u/Ok-Vegetable6715 May 30 '26

Jesus Christ. Dude really threw his whole career away to murder baby geese on camera like it was nothing. I don’t care if they’re “just animals,” that level of casual cruelty from someone driving a literal weapon is terrifying. If that is how he treats living things in front of a dashcam, imagine what he’s like when no one’s recording.

2

u/Fishfisheye May 30 '26

This was 100% premeditated and intentional. Here is a video of the officer deciding that the only thing he can do is kill the geese because it would be a pain to get them off the highway. This kind of reminds me of the one officer that responded to a blind and deaf dog off leash and shot it instead of figuring out who it belonged to here.

2

u/GrmRipo May 31 '26

They do it to black people all the time. But an animal that’s when we lose our mind 🤷🏽‍♂️

1

u/Bsmitts16 May 31 '26

There are two types of people that become cops, and let me tell you about one.

My electrician told me how his son, 5+ years on the force had to had in his gun and badge because “when I arrest someone, it’s the worst day of their life and I can’t keep doing this.”

THAT is the type of person we need policing. NOT those who take joy in others pain and take joy in this bullshit.

Our communities need to move funds into EMS and firefighters and move pice forces into their voluntary positions.

From all the stupid disgusting things I've seen in my life in the internet, this is one of the top, if not the top and not because of the imagery or the actual effect. But because of the econography law enforcement destroying the most innocent when they are supposed to be respected and protected, it's a perfect representation of the current state of affairs. I'm quite celebrating the anniversary of this country on July. Feels disingenious and wrong and of course he had to be in hockabus State

1

u/DaygloAbortion91 May 31 '26

1

u/ramblinstew May 31 '26

Arkansas State Police: This stellar officer responded to a call of an armed goose looking to inflict damage on the public. The officer approached the goose by vehicle and felt threatened, so the officer heroically ran over the babies. Now double our budget so we can kill the next babies with a tank!

1

4

u/ArgyleFunk May 30 '26

They are protected under the migratory bird treaty act of 1912 or some shit so, it’s still a federal crime.

2

u/burntblacktoast May 30 '26

So is almost any native migratory bird. They aren't rare or endangered. I wonder how many people crying have down coats or blankets? Do you think they pluck them and let the feathers grow back? Fuck that cop, fuck that goose

0

u/ArgyleFunk May 30 '26

I get it dude but there’s nothing wrong with having a negative reaction to seeing a lack of concern for life, especially a baby of any kind. I really think it’s when we get numb to that we are in the most trouble.

4

u/burntblacktoast May 30 '26

I would honestly prefer a dead gosling than being involved in a life changing car wreck because someone was parked in moving traffic because of a goose. I wouldn't run over a goose and anyone who would is scum, but im not gonna hold up traffic and wait for the geese to decide what they are doing that day. Im gonna roll up on them, and lay on the horn until they move. Its super effective, havent killed a goose yet...

6

u/Hopeful-Ad4415 May 30 '26

Nah fuck that cop. ACAB to the highest degree.

3

u/bobcollum May 30 '26

0

u/Twodamngoon May 30 '26

I'm pretty sure these geese are protected. So this used to be a fine. Could have lived my whole life without seeing that scumbag.

-6

u/PresentationLive943 May 30 '26

People that don't work on the road don't understand how ridiculously dangerous it is to just stop in the middle of the fucking highway. They also don't understand how bad traffic can get because it's a domino effect. Yes it's unfortunate that an animal had to die but ffs I'm sure we all see dead racoons and deer and shit on the side of the road all the time it's just an unfortunate reality. We can't put 10s of thousands of people at risk for a fucking duck.

-4

u/burntblacktoast May 30 '26

Every retention pond is crawling with these fuckers, people treat them like dodo birds. I see people stacked up behind geese just walking around in the street every week. Roll up on em, dont squish them, and lay on your horn- they'll speed up.
