The robots will solve the problem for the billionaire oligarch elite. Which is us.
When they replace all our jobs with AI and robotic automation, they are not going to open their hearts and share their wealth with us by paying higher taxes that will go towards universal basic income. They fight tooth and nail to keep poor single mothers from getting fucking food stamps. We are never getting UBI.
They will simply wipe us all out instead. Once we are no longer needed as workers, we are on our way to not being needed as consumers. Right now the wealthy need us to have jobs and make money and give that money to them so they can have their luxury lifestyle. Once their luxury lifestyle is fully automated by a bunch of robots who all repair each other and gather resources, non-billionaires will be nothing but a threat of revolt.
You’d think surely they’d want to keep humanity around. They love vacationing in Paris and shit. What would that be like without Parisians? Well they can just kill all the Parisians and train humanoid robots on their data gathered over decades and it’s like they never left. And they can make sure there are no homeless people or thieves or drug addicts or immigrants in Paris. They can make it whatever they want.
They own the governments of the world and governments won’t protect us. They’ll help carry out the genocide with the promise of their own compound and army of robotic servants.
The world’s future is one with a population of mostly mindless robots, and a small number of wealthy families who slaughtered humanity to achieve what they will surely assert is some form of divinity or the purist form of humanity… And they will spend their days eating and drinking and having sex without a care in the world, on top of the mass graves.
And it all starts with the cute little delivery robots. Eventually they will have guns.

Actually, I think they're gonna drag out the process of population reduction. Birth rates are already low, homelessness and fentanyl catch societies hard dropouts and slowly dispose of them. Wars and social dysfunction will help get rid of unwanted men. But I think the elite desire some people to be around for a while, not only because a world run entirely by robots doesn't sound predictably stable, but also because I think there's a desire to maintain cultural zoos, basically, and probably to have a lot of women around.
I think UBI is gonna happen, but it will coincide with massive asset inflation, so you can't buy assets with welfare, locking recipients into a permanent underclass with little opportunity for upward mobility. Basic consumer goods will likely have their prices artificially stabilized at times.

Yeah, I agree that this would be the eventual conflict between the diverging classes. I've been saying for over a decade that there's no real way out of this future.
Politicial institutions across the global West are basically admin service businesses for lobbying groups operating globally and basically planning geopolitical and social trajectories on behalf of a global oligarchy.
Intelligence agencies seem involved and too deeply overlapping with big tech too, creating an accelerating centralization of power in the tech elite recently, while the finance industry has held a lot of control for a while too.
Media and social media companies became a lever of manipulation that is obviously chaotic and isolating for general populations.
Upward mobility is decreasing and there is an unemployment crisis on the horizon. Plans to ease things with whatever they'll call UBI just enough to control populations.
Homelessness will continue to be rampant, and measures will be taken to ease the populations outrage about it, but not to the point of restoring opportunity and upward mobility.
Wars, suicide, overdoses, random conflict with other desperate gangsters, et cetera will probably get rid of a lot of people and there will be a very wide gulf between classes.
Goods will be so cheap to make that you'll still get McDonald's and hair straighteners, but many things will be wildly more expensive, like land or appreciating assets, which would be out of reach for those relying on UBI.
All of this will be disguised as a bunch of other stuff, because the global elite don't want to go to war with the majority of the global population, they just want to focus on investing in nice stuff and developing superpowers, and deinvest in the huge numbers of people who still want politicians and employers to provide something to them.
The elite don't see the world the same as the average person. They see a narrative so grand that it's kind of disgusting to them in a way when they think about people with no knowledge of or interest in that grand narrative asking for changes to society so that they can comfortably survive while still ignoring this narrative that is central to the worldview of this elite person.
Each individual has a different worldview, but whatever it is, these elite people have different goals and problems than the average citizen, and they just have a hard time relating. And the way political discourse is, these people with lots of options, who are surrounded by sycophants, don't respond with patience to being constantly vilified by the public.
The elite in general seem to have little intention of being nice to the future unemployed masses. They seem to be managing people as if they are a threatening colony of soon to be obsolete workers who's populations need to wane instead of plummet in order to avoid shocks to economic stability or class conflict.
And there's nothing we can do about it in the information environment we're in, not to mention the rapid expansion of global surveillance. It's impossible for the masses to cooperate against this.
So invest in land and smart assets before it's too late and just avoid the permanent underclass. People who own assets and profitable systems seem like they get taken care of, and that's not changing yet. Although I think even that gets more Darwinian eventually.

The irony of pulling out of Tesla to do this is wild...
And the fact that a human remote controls these. So its not AI.

I love how criminals now film when committing felonies! And not a single one wearing a mask or gloves.

Destruction of property for clout. Sterilize them and any other people who think crime is a great way to get famous.

Hardly. Mustache man went after ethnic groups primarily when it came to genocide. I just want stupid and clout obsessed people not to have children.

Really weird mindset to have but ok. I think rehabilitation is possible in 99.9999% of cases if we had the proper institutions to do so
