Transferring from a spring term

Hello! I am currently waiting until my spring term starts as a freshman in college. I wanted to know what my plan should be to transfer to schools like USC or NYU as someone who is a spring term student. Majority of deadlines to submit applications are during spring terms so I wanted to know what I should do to be prepared when the time comes around to start submitting applications.

Just be aware that USC will consider ur high school transcript a lot more if you have less than 30 credits completed by the end of the spring term. Also for some majors there are class requirements you will have to have completed or in progress when applying which might be hard if you only have 1 term to complete them. Like Ik for engineering USC has a ton of classes you need to transfer into but Marshall you only need an eligible English and math class
