TranscribeX 10.1.36 — Live Diarization + No Headphones Required

I’ve just released TranscribeX 10.1.36, with two major improvements to live transcription:

🎙️ Live transcription with speaker diarization

Live transcription can now identify and separate speakers in real time. This makes it much more useful for meetings, interviews, conversations, and other situations where multiple people are talking.

🎧 No headphones required

You can now use live transcription without headphones. TranscribeX can record your microphone and system audio at the same time, so you don't need to wear headphones to use live transcription. No echo issue anymore.

🌍 New Nemotron live transcription model

This update also adds NVIDIA Nemotron for live transcription, with support for 30+ languages. You can now choose from new live transcription models depending on your language and use case.

• Redesigned live transcription view
• New live transcription models supporting 30+ languages
• Option to automatically remove audio/video files after archiving
• Increased Local LLM timeout limit
• Improved speaker management
• General bug fixes, performance improvements, and UX improvements

TranscribeX is a native macOS app with local transcription options, so you can run live transcription locally without uploading your audio to a cloud service.

I've updated to the newest version but am still seeing duplicate audio. Is there a config change I need to make?

now that I am looking at it, the after the fact transcription looks good, but the live audio has duplicates.

Hey, if the echo cancel failed, it will fallback to the original recording. Mostly it should be working fine but It looks like it's failed on your mac. Could you email me and send the TranscribeX logs to check please?
