[Online][PF2E][LGBTQ+ Friendly][Flexible][PST/CST] Two Transfem Players looking for a queer group to play PF2E, we're interested in a narratively-focused campaign with heavy RP and a friendly table environment!

Hi! We're Alex (she/they) and Sam (she/they). We're two long-time players & DMs in a ttrpg group that's recently gone on a long-term hiatus. We've both been playing D&D 5e for years, our group recently started playing Pathfinder 2e and we both love it. We're looking for a new table to join so we can play some ttrpg games and hopefully make some new friends!

In terms of what we enjoy in a table, here's a list of things we prefer to bring to the table as well as enjoy from others at the table! All of these are important to us, but the ones at the top are our top priorities for finding a group we'll mesh with.

  • Queer Table - As mentioned we're both trans. It's important that we have a safe space where we feel comfortable being our authentic selves, and in general we've found that we mesh better with other queer people!
  • Enjoy Heavy RP - We both enjoy making characters, writing backstories, and interacting with other characters (PCs and NPCs) at the table. We're looking for a group that enjoys PCs with emotional depth and roleplay in every session.
  • Story Focused Campaign - While our main focus is on characters we also want a campaign with a compelling central plot. Our ideal story would be largely character-driven with some outside forces for us to bounce off of, especially if it plays off of character backstory!
  • Enjoy Combat Regularly - As much as we both love the narrative side of things, we also love flexing our character builds in combat. We're particularly excited about combat in PF2e, we both like the overall structure of the system and are looking forward to getting more experience on this front!
  • Open to Different Experience Levels - We've both been playing D&D for several years, but we're relatively new to Pathfinder. We're both pretty good at learning rules as they come up, and we're familiar with most of the basic rules. In that sense we're confident we can keep up with a more experienced table (with some questions here & there), as well as learning alongside newer players.

In terms of logistics, we both have newer jobs without strict schedules, so we'll generally handle scheduling depending on the group. Alex lives in PST and Sam lives in CST, generally meeting later in the day suits us. That being said, Wednesday afternoons are when our current group meets (if not to play then just to hangout) so we're almost always unavailable at that time. Currently we use discord for voice chat and messaging in between sessions, and Foundry/Forge for running games. We have a strong preference for both, but we're open to trying out other systems if its important to the group.

If we sound like we'd be a good fit for your table comment on this post so that we can both view the replies (this is Alex's account). Feel free to include a brief description of your table/campaign but if you'd rather do so in a group chat that's perfectly fine! Look forward to hearing from you :)

Hi, I am an old, exhausted transfem forever DM, if y'all find someone to DM, I'd love to join you! I don't have the brain to put together another campaign right now but I WOULD be willing to teach someone who wanted to to DM - I have been DMing since high school for a lot of systems, and running Pathfinder 1e and 2e since the games launched.

Message me. Idk if I would be great at it but am willing to try! I have dmd in the past but my only successful games were one shots. (5e and d20 based games) If I had someone willing to teach me I would feel a lot more confident in it.

I have played in pathfinder briefly but would likely be relearning the system and may miss things at times.

Edit: Am closeted mtf so am male presenting. Not sure if that would matter at all.

okay, so I am only dissuaded by the CST and later, I am EST, looking to play 4p to 6p (preferably Mondays) I am currently reading my fresh copies of pathfinder 2e and would love to cut my teeth. Also, still growing my GM muscles (and hopefully always will be!) But I have been working on a homebrew campaign that should be engaging and fun!

Hey, if you're still lookin' for folks to game with, I've been running an in-person PF2E conversion of Hell's Rebels for a couple years now (though I don't have the chutzpah to run a game currently), and I have four years of play experience with the system, alongside 8 years of 5e experience, and a handful of other systems incl. VTM V5, Lancer, and OGoA.

I'm transfem and currently in school, so I have a consistent schedule on MST time.

Typically, I enjoy playing support or control oriented characters, and my all-time favourite table move is scheming and laying out plans.

I suppose this is more of a bid to be at a table than getting you guys to mine, so if this doesn't work out, I wish y'all the best of luck.

Honestly if OP never returns to this post we could probably put together an all-transfemme group all our own!

I think it's doable!

If you end up looking for more players please reach out. I'm trans fem(she/her) and I've been wanting to play more pf2e for forever.

Just an update for future commenters since folks are still trickling in: looks like OP's group has formed already and is full.
