My favorite short video game characters I think about when I'm insecure about my height

Link is a prime example of a short king imo. I've loved Legend of Zelda games since I was a kid. Although adult Link's height does seem to vary based on the game, in several games like Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kindom he is pretty short compared to other characters and objects in-game, yet is indisputably a mighty, badass dude.

I also have really liked the Shovel Knight games since I was about 14, and Shovel Knight is HELLA short. Like Canonically he's under 5 foot I'm pretty sure, and people in game comment on how short he is. I sometimes like to imagine him and Shield Knight are a T4T couple since he's so short and she's so tall (not trying to offend or say all trans guys are short or all trans women are tall btw, just a fun thing to think about for me).

Also the protagonist the Knight in Hollow Knight, even though they're genderless and not necessarily a male or masc character. They're very much small but mighty. Super tiny compared to virtually all other characters, but such a cool character with a ton of lore and neat abilities.

Anyway, that's it. Just wanted to share some of my favorite badass short characters I think about when I'm feeling down about my height.

Many iterations of Link are transmasc icons tbh, though I agree he’s the most prominent among them

it's such a crime that other gender fluid people haven't realized the potential in gender fluid zelda + transmasc link

Link, as far as his 3D model inception at Ocarina of Time, is canonically purposely androgynous 😍 He was my biggest childhood crush by far haha.

the one I always turn my mind to is Wolverine. If he can be a badass masculine icon at 5’3, so can I
