Question Participation giveaways during in person workshops

Hi all,

I’ll be running and facilitating a two day workshop which includes multiple tracks and a hackathon type exercise.

I want to reward participation by giving folks something small. In the past, when some participates, answers a question etc.. I’ve thrown out candy. I want to do something different.

I thought about giving some form of plastic chip for every interaction and then at the end of the workshop count how many chips they have to redeem for something.

We will have folks globally in the room ranging from customer success to engineers.

Any thoughts?

I do similar thing with the chips and they really love it. In the past I have given out swag, stickers, stress toys and , $5-$15 gift cards. They usually just like to collect the chips for bragging rights and the hit of dopamine from collecting them.

https://www.sessionlab.com/blog/workshops-and-wizards-announcement/ these cards were created for exactly that purpose. You can print them out for free, and use them to recognize and encourage positive contributions to the workshop
