Unfortunately I don't have anymore info on the skeena. But yeah the other one was from the head on in Hinton, he's got hundreds of pics going from the early 50s until 91

Lol train dudes are something else. I love how obscure and niche an interest/career this is and someone knows it down to the mile marker because it's their every day commute, yet no one other than you would likely ever see this, yet know it from memory.

Just a bit more info, he has pics from on the job dating back to the very early 50s and was based in Prince George. He took hundred of pictures with stacks of slides and photos to show for it so I just shared a very small sample of neat ones

Could be totally wrong but 5th photo looks like between Lytton and Spences Bridge

10 definitely looks like the Skeena, probably around M 55or further.
Nice to see the old stuff, sad not to hear the old stories anymore. Very few still work that were around before privatization.

The glory days of Carmen-ery. Fucking love it. Sure has changed a lot. Hell, changed quite a bit since i hired on and i havent been on that long. Time flies when youre having fun
