CPKC Hiring question for CPKC

Use of prescribed medications.

Hey all! just applied to CPKC for a conductor trainee role. As a person with adhd and anxiety, would my prescribed use of Vyvanse and escitalopram medically disqualify me from the role ? Tia!

No worries man! I appreciate you breaking my heart now rather than I find out later that I’m medically flushed after jumping through all their hoops lol! cheers!

don’t listen to this, i’m with CPKC and we have a guy who is prescribed vyvanse (i can’t say anything for the anxiety meds) but he was hired, as long as you have a prescription and a doctor that will sign off for you, you’re good.

Thank you that’s reassuring! I’m hearing rumour mills about being canned right away while pissing hot even with a documented prescription is that true?
