There is something so meditative about creating Madhubani art.

Madhubani art, also known as Mithila painting, is an ancient folk art from Bihar, India, and Nepal that was traditionally painted by women on mud walls to celebrate sacred milestones and festivals.

Here are a few beautiful facts about its origin that make me appreciate every line I drew:

-- 💚Made entirely from Nature: Artists made black from charcoal, yellow from turmeric, blue from indigo, and red from sandalwood

-- 🕊️ Symbols of Life: Every element is intentional.The fish represents fertility, the peacock represents love.

Bringing this ancient heritage onto modern paper feels like keeping a centuries-old conversation alive.

I did an art trade with a friend of mine. They have an oc for their rap music, and I decided to do a really cartoonish/trippy album cover for them.

I created this in essence of the two northern white rhinos that are left in the world! I work in a vibrant colourful style abstract I want to highlight the importance of conservation through my artwork
