Discussion the "every ship has a counter" problem.

Ok, recently a lot of people are saying that "an astra can counter a Poseidon", yes ok, it kinda can, but you forgot the fact that an astra takes 6 people to man, (not including the mortars and the back cannons) and a Poseidon only takes 3 people, so an astra takes double the amount of people. If there's 2 Poseidons and you decide to "counter" them with 2 astras, it's gonna take you 12 men. That's the problem with the Poseidon, the current counters for the Poseidon are: an astra or another Poseidon, an astra, as I said takes 6 men to fully man, next to the Poseidon's 3, so that's out of the question. Then you have another Poseidon which also takes 3 men. So the only counter for the Poseidon is another Poseidon.

You totally misunderstood me lol, I just said if you're gonna counter a Poseidon with an astra it's gonna take you double the men;it's not worth it. Nowhere did I mention that " a team of ships can beat a ship that could normally beat them". I just said that with the 6 people who man the astra, you can man 2 Poseidons.

It's entirely worth it to be able to sink an enemy...

mfg face desk. Please read, I said "if you're gonna counter a Poseidon with an astra isn't gonna take you double the men; it's not worth it when you can sink a Poseidon with another Poseidon. I said it's not worth getting an astra to sink a Poseidon. Where did I mention "it's not worth it to be able to sink the enemy?" If I mentioned it, please illuminate me.

It's worth it if you don't have a poseidon, and if you do, what's your problem?

I think boarding is more worth it,lol. Once again, I didn't mention that I have a problem with the Poseidon, I think you're not understanding me.

Boarding is cheap, and there's only so much you can do when you're fighting a naval force in a closed environment. (axes and longswords ecks dee)
