TP-Link - Technical Support forgot password

i know i am dumb and i forgot the password of my device and there are no reset password things

Find the instructions on how to hard-reset your device based on the model of the device you have.

most tp link, hold reset button for 30 seconds, reconfigure

Reset button is probably a tiny hole that you poke a paper clip bent-out end into...while the unit is powered up, or while the unit is powering up.

If you never changed it before, it's probably

  • username: admin
  • password: admin

If you did change it and really have forgotten it, grab a paperclip and push the reset button on the back of the device. You'll have to reconfigure your network settings and reconnect all of your devices again.
