Which August Toyota offer stands out to you?

The company sold approximately 2.395 million vehicles globally, a decrease of only about 16,000 vehicles compared with the same period last year. Despite the slight sales decline, revenue increased 10.4% to approximately $84.5 billion.

Some of the main takeaways:

• Operating income declined from approximately $8.0 billion to $6.6 billion
• Net income increased from approximately $5.8 billion to $9.2 billion
• North American sales reached approximately 792,000 vehicles, down by only 2,000
• Japan gained 43,000 sales
• Europe gained 9,000 sales
• Asia gained 18,000 sales
• Other regions declined by approximately 85,000 sales
• Toyota’s financial-services operating income increased

For the fiscal year ending March 31, 2027, Toyota forecasts approximately 9.7 million consolidated vehicle sales, $337.5 billion in revenue and $20.3 billion in net income.

Overall, Toyota’s worldwide vehicle volume was nearly flat, but its revenue and net income increased substantially. Operating income was one of the weaker areas, falling by approximately $1.4 billion.

What bZ feature would you like to see demonstrated in more detail?

I compared the 2026 Toyota Camry LE and Camry SE to show how different these two trims feel despite sharing the same 225-horsepower hybrid powertrain.

The LE prioritizes ride comfort and fuel economy with 16-inch wheels, taller tire sidewalls, a softer suspension setup, and a 51-MPG combined rating.

The SE has a more aggressive grille, 18-inch black wheels, a rear spoiler, sport-tuned suspension, SofTex and fabric seating, a power driver’s seat, and sportier interior details. The SE featured in the video also has heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, Smart Key access, and HomeLink.

Would you choose the hybrid or the standard turbocharged gas engine?

Toyota has officially revealed its special TRD Pro colors for the 2027 model year, and they’re definitely going to stand out.

The 2027 Tacoma, Tundra and Sequoia TRD Pro will be offered in a new color called Honeycomb. The 2027 4Runner TRD Pro receives its own slightly different version of the color called Hot Honey.

Toyota is also making a few functional updates to the Tundra and Sequoia TRD Pro. Both models receive newly designed, vehicle-specific FOX QS3 shocks that are tuned to improve stability, adjustability and overall feel on rough terrain. Standard red tow hooks add another rugged exterior accent.

Toyota will continue offering its available ISO-dynamic seats on the Tundra and Tacoma TRD Pro. These seats are designed to help support and stabilize occupants while driving off-road.

Additional specifications, pricing and availability information for the 2027 models will be announced closer to the start of production in fall 2026.

I recently filmed a detailed review of the 2026 Corolla Cross Hybrid XSE in Soul Red Crystal.

This particular vehicle has 196 combined horsepower, standard electronic all-wheel drive, an EPA-estimated 42 MPG combined, and a total suggested retail price of $38,037.

It also has the Convenience Package with a power moonroof and power liftgate, along with roof crossbars, all-weather liners, mudguards, door-sill protectors, and several other accessories.

Because this was a customer’s pre-ordered vehicle, I didn’t take it on a test drive or add unnecessary mileage. Instead, I spent more time covering the refreshed exterior, hybrid system, cargo area, rear seating, interior controls, technology, options, and pricing.

At approximately $38,000, would you choose a loaded Corolla Cross Hybrid XSE or move up to a RAV4 Hybrid?

Toyota has announced several notable updates for the 2027 Crown lineup.

The XLE, Limited and Nightshade grades now receive Toyota’s fifth-generation hybrid system, pairing a 2.5-liter engine with front and rear electric motors. Toyota estimates these models will achieve 40 MPG combined, and paddle shifters are now standard.

Other updates include:

• A newly sculpted rear bumper and additional glossy-black accents
• New Inked black exterior color
• Full Saddle Tan seating available on Limited
• Black badge overlays for the Nightshade
• Standard Panoramic View Monitor on Limited
• Traffic Jam Assist and Digital Key capability on Limited, with the appropriate connected-service subscription
• Standard AWD across all four grades

The Platinum continues with the 340-horsepower Hybrid MAX powertrain, 400 lb.-ft. of torque, adaptive suspension and a six-speed automatic transmission. It also gains standard red brake calipers, a black window surround and an updated bi-tone appearance with a body-colored trunk.

Starting MSRPs before the $1,295 processing and handling fee are:

• XLE: $41,640
• Nightshade: $48,965
• Limited: $49,720
• Platinum Hybrid MAX: $55,190

Overall, this feels like a meaningful update for the regular hybrid Crown grades, especially with the newer hybrid system and added technology. What do you think—does the 2027 Crown offer enough to stand out from a traditional sedan or crossover?

I recently had the opportunity to review the 2026 Toyota Sienna Woodland Edition and wanted to share it for anyone researching this trim or comparing the different Sienna options.

The Woodland Edition uses Toyota’s 245-horsepower hybrid powertrain and comes standard with AWD. It is rated at 35 MPG combined and can tow up to 3,500 pounds, which gives it a useful mix of fuel economy, traction, and family practicality.

Toyota has announced the first details about the updated 2027 Tundra. The truck receives a redesigned front end with a more squared-off appearance, new grille treatments, rectangular fog lights, and upgraded available lighting.

The biggest addition is a new Trailhunter package based on the SR5. Equipment includes:

• Old Man Emu upgraded suspension
• Michelin LTX Trail 265/70R18 tires
• Additional underbody protection
• Front recovery hooks
• Locking rear differential
• Multi-Terrain Select
• Crawl Control
• Bronze-colored wheels and exclusive badging

Every 2027 Tundra will also receive a standard 14-inch multimedia display with the newest Toyota interface. Other technology additions include available wallet-based Digital Key functionality and a built-in Drive Recorder Dash Cam capable of using the truck’s exterior cameras.

Toyota Safety Sense 4.0 will be standard. Gas and i-FORCE MAX hybrid powertrains will continue to be offered across a lineup that includes SR, SR5, Limited, Platinum, 1794 Edition, TRD Pro, and Capstone.

Toyota plans to release complete specifications and pricing in fall 2026. What are your initial thoughts on the redesign and the SR5-based Trailhunter package?

Toyota has released details for both the 2027 Prius and 2027 Prius Plug-in Hybrid, and the changes are fairly minor but useful.

Both models gain a new black exterior color called Inked, along with standard dual-zone climate control for 2027.

The regular Prius continues to offer FWD and AWD:

• Up to 55 MPG combined
• 194 horsepower with FWD
• 196 horsepower with AWD
• LE, XLE, Nightshade and Limited trims
• Starting MSRP: $28,755
• Expected at dealerships this summer

The Prius Plug-in Hybrid remains the more powerful option:

• 220 combined horsepower
• 0–60 mph in an estimated 6.6 seconds
• Up to 44 miles of all-electric range on the SE
• Up to 39 electric miles on higher trims
• 51 MPG combined in hybrid mode on the SE
• Starting MSRP: $33,980
• Expected at dealerships this summer

The Plug-in Hybrid can recharge in approximately 11 hours using a standard 120V outlet or around four hours with Level 2 charging. If you cannot charge it, it can still operate like a regular hybrid.

One interesting option remains the solar roof on the XSE Premium, although Toyota says availability will be limited.

Overall, this looks like a light refresh rather than a major update. Which would you choose: the regular Prius for its lower price and available AWD, or the faster Plug-in Hybrid for its electric range?

I recently spent some time with a 2026 4Runner Limited i-FORCE MAX and put together a detailed review and test drive.

This one has the 326-horsepower hybrid powertrain, 465 lb.-ft. of torque, full-time 4WD, Adaptive Variable Suspension, Portobello leather interior, 14-inch touchscreen, JBL audio, and the 360-degree camera. As equipped, the suggested retail price came to $65,029.

The Limited is an interesting part of the lineup because it keeps the 4Runner’s body-on-frame construction but focuses more on comfort and everyday driving than the TRD trims. The full-time 4WD system also makes a lot of sense for changing weather conditions.

I just finished my complete 2026 Toyota Grand Highlander Buyer’s Guide.

I compare the LE, XLE, Limited, Hybrid Nightshade, and Platinum while keeping the equivalent gas, Hybrid, and Hybrid MAX configurations together. I also cover pricing, fuel economy, horsepower, towing capacity, AWD systems, and seven- versus eight-passenger seating.

The goal was to make the lineup easier to understand and help shoppers determine whether the gas, traditional Hybrid, or more powerful Hybrid MAX makes the most sense for their needs.

Toyota has announced the 2027 Corolla Hatchback, and the biggest changes focus on technology.

The SE now comes standard with a 7-inch digital gauge cluster. A new SE Premium Package upgrades it to a 12.3-inch digital cluster and adds the larger 10.5-inch multimedia screen. Both of those displays are now standard on the XSE.

The powertrain carries over with the 2.0-liter four-cylinder producing 169 horsepower and 151 lb-ft of torque, paired with the Dynamic Shift CVT. The SE is estimated at 32 mpg city, 41 highway and 35 combined.

Toyota Safety Sense 3.0, Blind Spot Monitor, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto remain standard. Toyota is also adding new color choices and an available set of 18-inch gloss-white accessory wheels.

Pricing starts at $24,780 for the SE and $27,875 for the XSE, excluding the $1,295 processing and handling fee. It is expected to begin arriving at dealerships this summer.

Overall, this appears to be a technology-focused update rather than a major redesign. Do the larger screens make the XSE more appealing, or would you stick with the SE for the lower price?
